Your role

You will be responsible for the collection, analysis and presentation of data concerning Allseas’ performance across the various ESG metrics and will play an important role in ensuring that Allseas’ ESG initiatives adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations. As a member of the Treasury & Financial Planning Department, which is also responsible for ESG reporting, you will report directly to the Group Treasurer and collaborate closely with the Sustainability Manager, Finance and other business functions.

Emphasis is placed on the following:

Collect, validate and consolidate ESG data for internal decision making and external (regulatory) reporting purposes;

Develop and maintain auditable ESG data collection and control framework in collaboration with various source departments such as HR and QHSE and lead the external audits of ESG data and KPI’s;

Prepare and file external reports in accordance with relevant ESG reporting frameworks, such as ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards), ensuring accuracy and compliance;

Generate reports tailored for external stakeholders, including financial institutions and clients highlighting our ESG performance and initiatives;

Ensure compliance with decarbonisation legislation, like EU-ETS (EU Emissions Trading Scheme) and collaborate with the Treasury department on trading schemes;

Prepare ESG performance reports for the quarterly ESG committee, facilitating informed decision making and strategy development;

Drive automation of ESG controlling and reporting processes by leveraging on various data sources and tools such as SAP to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What we expect from you

You get energy from engaging in a wide range of ESG topics and like to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table. You are prepared to set up the ESG reporting process from scratch and demonstrate adaptability to evolve the ESG Reporting Specialist role to meet both organisational and regulatory requirements. You will stay well-informed on the latest development in ESG regulation to ensure compliancy. Moreover, you are data-minded enabling you to translate ESG data into insights for a wide range of stakeholders.

You have:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental related study, finance or Business Administration);

Minium of 1 year of relevant work experience in preferably in finance, controlling or sustainability;

Experience or high interest in data management, interpretation and visualisation (PowerBI or similar);

Passion for sustainability and ESG;

Excellent command of the English language.
