Hennessey Digital is a leading search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing agency in North America. We are a fully remote and highly collaborative team of digital marketing thought leaders located all over the country.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-driven, and possess a problem-solving mindset with at least two (2) years of QA engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in identifying and implementing solutions for common errors.
Review all work completed prior to client delivery.
Collaborate with the manager to create effective standard operating procedures and training materials to support SEO efforts.
Work within HD’s quality control checker.
Gather and monitor performance metrics for quality control measures.
Contribute to training efforts and assist in developing relevant content.
Create and utilize detailed QA Checklists and provide detailed feedback.
Create and run reports on quality metrics.
Analyze bugs and errors found during system tests including the HD QA system check.
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements.

Experience

At least two (2) years of experience in a professional quality control environment or comparable experience.
Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Strong editorial judgment and confidence to consult on issues.
Experience with content management systems; WordPress is a plus.
Familiarity with QA Automation tools and testing platforms, such as Selenium, is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize issues across multiple projects.
Proficiency in English.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience.
