To further strengthen our finance function, we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who will take ownership of financial accounting, reporting and control. /p h3Job Description /h3 ul liTaking ownership of the complete financial administration for the company and its related entities /li liCoordinating and reviewing the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes /li liPreparing and analysing periodic financial statements and management reports /li liEnsuring the integrity, accuracy and completeness of the general ledger /li liManaging balance sheet reconciliations, provisions, accruals and intercompany positions /li liMaintaining financial control over a manufacturing environment, including areas such as inventory, production costsand working capital /li liMonitoring the financial administration surrounding purchasing, production and inventory movements /li liStrengthening internal controls and improving finance procedures across the organisation /li liIdentifying financial risks and developing appropriate control measures /li liLeading, coaching and supporting colleagues within the finance team /li liActing as a financial sparring partner for management and other departments /li liConverting financial information into clear insights and recommendations for management /li liSupporting further automation and optimisation of financial processes and systems /li liTaking ownership of the statutory annual accounts and coordinating the year-end audit /li liActing as the main contact for the external accountant and auditor /li liContributing to the continued professionalisation and scalability of the finance organisation /li /ul h3The Successful Applicant /h3 ul liA completed HBO or university degree in Accountancy, Finance Control, Business Economics or a comparable field /li liApproximately 8+ years of relevant experience within accounting, financial control or external audit /li liExperience within a manufacturing, production or industrial organisation is strongly preferred /li liA background in external audit combined with subsequent experience in an in-house finance position is an advantage /li liStrong technical accounting knowledge, preferably including experience with Dutch GAAP and IFRS /li liExperience with statutory reporting and coordinating external audits /li liUnderstanding of financial processes within a production environment, including inventory accounting, cost allocation and manufacturing costs /li liPrevious experience supervising, coaching or developing finance colleagues /li liStrong analytical skills combined with a high level of accuracy /li liThe ability to move comfortably between detailed accounting topics and broader business discussions /li liA proactive approach to improving processes, controls and financial systems /li liStrong communication skills and the confidence to challenge stakeholders when necessary /li liGood command of both Dutch and English /li liFull-time availability, preferably at short notice /li /ul h3What's on Offer /h3 pGreat career development plan /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
