On the one hand, this means ensuring that the right trained (flex) employee is available at the right time. Furthermore, you manage the agency contracts, ensuring that the cooperation with the temporary employment partners runs optimally, you audit the temp partners, and ensure that living and working conditions comply with the contract agreements. You do this, amongst others, by managing the Workforce Coordinators in Lelystad. You are also responsible to provide high quality management reports concerning the labour pool. /ppYou will be based at our site in Lelystad and you will report directly to the HR Manager. /ppstrongWhat does your day look like as Manager Workforce: /strong /pulliEnsure GXO and temp agencies conform to requirements set out in SLA. Advise site management of non-conformities and help develop corrective measures /liliEnsure timely KPI reporting by temp agencies and GXO on all reports concerning temp labour Lead campus “plan community” and ensure long term temp planning is sufficient to supply demand for the site /liliFacilitate and promote cross-training of temp labour for the Lelystad Site /liliFacilitate and promote exchange of temp labour to ensure availability at peak times /liliAdvise Senior Management, Site Management, and temp agencies on opportunities to increase duration of temp labour at GXO and reduce training costs /liliEnsure training and onboarding is uniform for all temp agencies supplying a site with temp labour /liliWork with HR and site management to ensure all temp labour is equally paid for the same labour /liliOrganize and support operational meetings between site management and temp agencies Identify and distribute best practices regarding temp labour for the Site /liliEnsure training documentation and working instructions available for temp labour is uniform and up to date, advise site management on required changes /liliEnsure good relationship is maintained with temp agency management, site management and HR /liliContribution to structural reduction of negative environmental impact from usage of natural resources (a/o energy, water, fuel) and from emissions (waste, carbon) and to contribute to environmental performance initiatives /liliAdhere to applicable legal requirements, GXO and industry standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives /liliEnsure all Agency invoices are accurate and sent on time to ensure and maintain 100% compliance /liliManage and lead a team, developing their competencies to ensure a structured approach within the organisation /li /ulpstrongWhat do we offer: /strong /pulliA competitive salary, bonus scheme, laptop, and smartphone /liliA very dynamic organization, where an exciting environment with plenty of room for personal input is key /liliTake charge of your own success and the support needed for your development /liliA position with a lot of responsibility, where you will face new challenges every day /liliA new challenge in an entrepreneurial, open, and multicultural environment /li /ulpstrongWhat do you need to be successful: /strong /pulliExtensive experience in a similar type of role, either within a temp employment agency or within Logistics /liliStrong negotiation and communication skills /liliNetworking, decisive and relationship skills /liliYou are a confident, natural leader and problem solver with demonstrated critical thinking and collaboration skills /liliYou have advanced understanding of business process analysis /liliYou are a go-getter, can make decisions and are able to take on projects strategically /liliGood oral and written skills in English is essential, with Dutch, Polish or Spanish an added plus /liliExperience with the following topics is a plus: social responsibility, CSR initiatives, migrant workers in a Blue-Collar environment and/or policy experience, process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, planning of multiple strategic projects, provide best in class project management to be able to meet project timelines /liliExcel skills at an intermediate level /li /ulpstrongYour work environment: /strong /ppWorking at GXO Logistics means working in a dynamic and international organization.
