About the Role

We are looking for a multidisciplinary Creative Designer with a strong focus on video production, motion design and AI-powered creative workflows.

You will work closely with other designers, social media specialists, digital marketing specialists and internal stakeholders throughout the full lifecycle of communication initiatives from initial briefing and creative concept development to final asset delivery. Our goal is to design the most visually engaging online & offline campaigns that directly speak to (potential) customers & and ensure all our assets across multiple channels are in line with our brand, with a strong focus on BeLux (Belgium and Luxembourg) market.

The role combines creative thinking, hands-on production and performance-driven execution. Your primary responsibility will be to create engaging video and motion content, including filming, editing, animation and post-production. You will also use generative AI tools to improve production efficiency, explore new creative approaches and scale content creation. In addition, you will support the development of high-quality graphic design assets for social media, paid media, print, digital platforms and events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Production, Editing & Motion Design

- Lead the end-to-end production of video and motion content, including concept development, scriptwriting, storyboarding, filming, editing, animation, sound design, colour correction and post-production.

- Create motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, product animations and other dynamic visual elements.

- Adapt video content into multiple formats, durations and aspect ratios for platforms such as TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Google and digital out-of-home media.

- Able to integrate Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Seedance, HeyGen or similar platforms) into the production process to optimize efficiency and explore innovative visual expressions.

2. Graphic Design & Campaign Asset Development

- Develop high-quality visual assets for online & offline channels, with a strong focus on organic social media and paid advertising.

- Support campaign development & event-related assets through key visuals, banners and dealer marketing materials.

- Apply strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, colour, composition, spacing, hierarchy, iconography and visual storytelling.

3. Brand Consistency & Quality Control:

Ensure all content complies with BYD brand guidelines and maintains a high standard of quality. Review and refine creative output to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all channels

4. Stakeholder & Project Management:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, translating stakeholder requirements into clear creative solutions and practical production plans.

- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Work according to the divisional marketing calendar and ensure projects are delivered on time.

5. Creative Concept Development & Research:

- Stay up to date with video, motion, graphic and social media trends, translating relevant trends into brand-appropriate creative concepts.

Qualifications & Experience

· Prior experience working in a reputable creative/marketing agency is highly preferred. Demonstrable professional experience in video production, video editing, post-production and motion design.

· A strong portfolio showing video, motion, social media, paid media and graphic design work is required.

· Strong proficiency in modern design tools such as Adobe AI, PS, AE, PR,ID, CupCut, Figma.

· Practical experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Adobe Firefly, Stable Diffusion, Seedance, HeyGen or similar technologies.

· Experience producing content for organic social media, paid advertising, digital campaigns, events, websites and print is a strong plus.

· Basic understanding of conversion-focused design, customer journeys and performance marketing principles.

· Experience in the automotive, mobility, technology or consumer electronics sector is considered an advantage.

· Excellent communication skills in English, French and/or Dutch is a must.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Loves experimenting with new workflows and finding ways to increase creative output through AI.
