While operating across the Benelux region, this role has a strong focus on the BeLux markets (Belgium and Luxembourg), supporting the continued growth and localization of both brands in these key markets.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, organised and digitally native Social Media Operations Specialist to support and grow the social media presence of BYD and DENZA across the Benelux market, with a strong focus on BeLux markets (Belgium and Luxembourg).

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our social media channels, including content planning, publishing, community engagement, creator collaboration, campaign support and performance reporting. You will work closely with creative designers, digital marketing specialists, product marketing, PR, event teams, dealer stakeholders and external partners throughout the full lifecycle of communication initiatives—from initial briefing and content planning to publishing, optimisation and reporting.

This role is ideal for someone who understands social media culture, enjoys working with content and communities, and is eager to develop within an international, fast-moving automotive organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Operations & Content Planning

- Support the day-to-day management social media channels across the BeLux market including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and emerging platforms.

- Develop and maintain content calendars, publishing schedules and campaign timelines.

- Translate brand positioning, campaign briefs and product information into engaging, platform-specific content.

- Monitor platform developments, algorithm changes, content trends and emerging formats. Identify opportunities to improve content relevance, engagement and platform performance.

- Ensure all published content complies with BYD and DENZA brand guidelines and local market requirements.

2. Product Launches & Event Communication Support

- Support social media communication for new products launches, brand campaigns, press activities and events, coordinating pre-, during- and post-event content.

- Work with internal teams and external production partners to collect, adapt and publish content.

- Help extend the value of launch and event content through repurposing across different platforms.

3. Community & Creator Management:

- Community management & social listening. Engage proactively with relevant communities and help build positive relationships with existing and potential customers.

- Identify, onboard and coordinate relevant influencers and content creators within the automotive, technology and lifestyle sectors.

- Support the development of long-term creator relationships rather than one-off collaborations.

4. Performance Reporting & Optimisation

- Monitor social media performance across key metrics, including reach, engagement, audience growth, video views, click-through rate, conversions and sentiment. Use performance insights to continuously improve content planning and execution.

- Support the alignment of organic, paid and earned social media activities.

- Monitor competitor activity and relevant automotive social media trends.

5. Stakeholder & Project Management:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, translating stakeholder requirements into clear social media actions and deliverables.

- Manage multiple projects and priorities according to the divisional marketing calendar. Ensure assigned content and campaigns are delivered accurately and on time.

Qualifications & Experience

· Initial professional experience in social media, digital marketing, content marketing or the creator economy.

· Relevant internships, agency experience or personal social media projects may also be considered. Basic experience working with influencers, creators or external agencies is preferred.

· Good understanding of major social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook.

· Understanding of platform-specific content formats, audience behaviour and basic algorithm principles.

· Experience with content calendars, publishing tools and social media analytics including Meta Business Suite, Brandwatch, TikTok Studio, etc.

· Strong interest in content creation, community building and influencer marketing.

· Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate performance results into practical recommendations

· Basic understanding of paid social media, customer journeys and performance marketing principles.

· Basic content creation or editing skills in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools are an advantage.
