The work

As a Visualization & Interaction Science Analyst, you will join our AI & Data team within Strategy & Consulting. You will work directly with clients in the Netherlands and abroad to help them become more data-driven by designing intuitive analytics solutions that turn data into meaningful insights.

Working at the intersection of data, business, design, and AI, you will translate business challenges into dashboards, interactive reports, and analytics experiences that make complex information easy to understand and act upon. By combining visualization, storytelling, interaction design, and business understanding, you will help organizations unlock more value from their data.

As analytics continues to evolve, AI is creating new opportunities to make data more accessible and actionable. You will explore emerging capabilities such as AI-assisted insights and conversational analytics while helping clients build future-ready analytics solutions. Along the way, you will continuously develop your consulting, design, and technical skills while building expertise within one or more industries.

• People Engage collaboratively with consultants, designers, data professionals, and client stakeholders to understand business challenges, user needs, and decision contexts. Build trusted client relationships, communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, using your storytelling skills and contribute to solutions that create measurable business value while developing expertise within one or more industries.

• Processes Apply visualization, interaction design, and human-centered design principles to create engaging analytics solutions that support better decision making. Organize workshops to gather requirements, validate ideas, and co-create solutions with clients. Continuously explore how emerging AI capabilities can improve analytics by enhancing the way people discover, understand, and interact with information while balancing usability, trust, and human judgment.

• Technology and Data Design and develop dashboards, interactive reports, and analytics solutions using modern BI platforms. Experiment with AI-enabled capabilities through prototypes and proof of concepts, helping clients discover new ways to explore, understand, and interact with data.

Here's what you'll need

• Master's degree (or near completion) in Information Management, Business Analytics, Econometrics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
• Hands-on experience working with data through university projects, internships, research, or a thesis
• An interest in using data to solve business challenges and communicate insights through dashboards, visualization, and storytelling
• A basic understanding of SQL and relational data modelling
• Curiosity about human-centered design and creating intuitive experiences that help people interact with data
• Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, and an interest in how they are shaping the future of analytics
• A willingness to learn new analytics, visualization, and AI tools
• Strong communication skills, creativity, and an analytical mindset
• Fluency in English. Dutch (B2) is a strong plus

Bonus points if you have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
• Experience with UX/UI, design thinking, or interaction design
• A portfolio showcasing dashboards, prototypes, or other analytics work
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, or other AI-enabled analytics capabilities
• Participated in extracurricular activities such as internships, student consulting clubs or board roles
