Then get started as Category Manager - Mechanics at NTS Group Eindhoven, and let's make it possible together. /ph3Job Description /h3pAs Category Manager - Mechanics at NTS Group Eindhoven, you are responsible for defining and executing category strategies for mechanical parts and (sub) assemblies across our global supply base. You work closely with site procurement teams, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure technical alignment, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity. You report to the Global Sourcing Director and work within a global Sourcing team. This role calls for strong commercial acumen, technical understanding, and the ability to lead supplier relationships in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. /pulliDevelop and execute long-term category strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, supply security, and best-cost-country sourcing; /liliLead strategic sourcing initiatives, including contract negotiations and long-term supplier agreements, shaping our global supplier landscape; /liliManage strategic supplier accounts, negotiating QLTCS aspects and building strong relationships with key suppliers; /liliDrive supplier development programs focused on quality, capacity, cost optimization, and risk mitigation; /liliConduct market intelligence and cost analysis, including TCO and should-cost modelling, to identify value creation opportunities; /liliLead cross-functional sourcing projects from initiation through planning and execution; /liliTrack category performance, monitor KPIs, and generate periodic reports to higher management. /li /ulh3Job Requirements /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; /liliMinimum 10 years of strategic procurement experience in mechatronics or a related field; /liliProven experience setting up and executing supplier category strategies; /liliStrong background in supplier development, cost optimization, and risk management; /liliHands-on experience in contract negotiation, TCO analysis, and cost modeling; /liliAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, GDT, and BOMs, and translate constraints into sourcing requirements; /liliExcellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and project management skills. /li /ulh3Your terms of employment /h3ulliSalary from €5800 to €7800; /liliPersonal growth and development opportunities, for example through training and/or education; /lili27 vacation days and an additional 13 ADV days; /liliExcellent pension plan with PME; /liliTravel expense allowance paid monthly /li /ulh3About NTS /h3pWe deliver unique solutions to complex challenges and drive technological advancement for our customers.
