This role plays a key part in executing sourcing strategies, RFx events, supplier negotiations, and contracts while driving value through disciplined sourcing practices. /ppReporting to the Senior Director – Strategic Sourcing Lead, this role operates as a hands‑on sourcing leader, translating category strategies and business requirements into sourcing plans, negotiations, and supplier agreements. The Senior Manager is accountable for driving sourcing execution excellence and building strong working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers. /ph3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3ulliLead end-to-end strategic sourcing events for assigned EXM categories, suppliers, or initiatives aligned to sourcing priorities. /liliPlan and execute RFx events, negotiations, and supplier selections. /liliEnsure sourcing activities address cost, capacity, quality, service, and risk considerations. /liliLead commercial negotiations with suppliers, including pricing, capacity, and key commercial terms. /liliPartner with Legal and cross‑functional teams to support contract development and execution. /liliSupport contract implementation by ensuring clarity of sourcing intent and negotiated outcomes. /liliDeliver measurable sourcing value through cost optimization and contract execution. /liliSupport achievement of annual savings and value targets. /liliTrack sourcing outcomes and benefits using standard tools and templates. /liliEngage suppliers through structured sourcing processes and commercial discussions. /liliMaintain awareness of supplier capabilities, capacity constraints, and market dynamics. /liliProvide market and supplier insights to support planning and execution. /liliEnsure sourcing activities comply with procurement policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. /liliPartner with Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to ensure sourcing decisions are feasible and compliant. /liliPartner with Category Managers, External Manufacturing, Quality, and Manufacturing stakeholders to execute sourcing initiatives. /liliCommunicate sourcing plans and outcomes clearly and consistently. /liliApply standard sourcing tools, templates, and processes consistently. /liliIdentify opportunities to improve sourcing efficiency and execution discipline. /liliContribute to sourcing playbooks, standard work, and procurement tool adoption. /li /ulh3Your Skills and Experience /h3pAny equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered. /ph3Education/Certification/Experience /h3ulliAssociates degree required /liliBachelors or Masters degree preferred /liliA minimum of 7 years of experience leading end to end strategic sourcing and contracting activities, preferable within external manufacturing or regulated industries. /li /ulh3Skills/Knowledge/Abilities /h3ulliStrong working knowledge of sourcing and negotiation practices /liliExperience delivering savings and sourcing value initiatives /liliFamiliarity with pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred /liliSolid stakeholder communication and collaboration skills /liliAnalytical and problem solving capabilities /liliStong execution and delivery mindset with attention to detail /liliEffective negotiation and commercial acumen /liliAbility to operate effectively in evolving procurement environments /li /ulh3Teva’s Equal Employment Opportunity Commitment /h3pTeva Pharmaceuticals is committed to equal opportunity in employment.
