Computer Vision Engineer — High-Tech Semiconductor Systems

ppSTTLS is entering a new phase: next to customer-driven engineering projects, we are developing new business in semiconductor tools based on our own IP position. We work directly forleading players in semiconductor manufacturing and semiconductor tool supply. /p pThe Settels Savenije way of working defines how we create impact: we take ownership of program success, work in close cooperation with our clients’ stakeholders and contribute as an independent development partner. /p pFrom our base in Eindhoven, you develop practical computer vision solutions for high-tech semiconductor systems. The focus is on image-processing algorithms and Python-based implementation for precision measurement and alignment applications. You translate complex measurement challenges into reliable software, camera and lighting concepts, and validated vision modules that work in demanding cleanroom environments. This is an engineering role, not a pure research or AI role: your work must perform robustly in real machines. /p h3bWhat you will do /b /h3 ul lipDevelop and implement image-processing algorithms for high-precision measurement and alignment applications. /p /li lipTranslate measurement concepts into efficient, maintainable Python software using libraries such as OpenCV, NumPy or SciPy. /p /li lipDefine practical camera, lens, lighting and calibration choices needed to make the algorithms work reliably. /p /li lipTest, validate and optimize vision modules during system integration on real high-tech equipment. /p /li lipImprove measurement speed, accuracy and robustness under real production and cleanroom conditions. /p /li lipWork closely with mechatronics, software, electronics and system engineers to integrate vision functionality into complete systems. /p /li lipDocument algorithm choices, test results and validation outcomes clearly. /p /li /ul h3bWhat you bring /b /h3 ul lipBachelor’s or master’s degree in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, Software Engineering or a related field. /p /li lip3 to 7 years of experience in applied computer vision, image processing, measurement systems or high-tech machine building. /p /li lipStrong understanding of image processing, signal processing, calibration and applied mathematics. /p /li lipExperience with Python for algorithm development, technical implementation and testing. /p /li lipPractical knowledge of optics, camera technology, lighting, resolution and measurement accuracy. /p /li lipGood Dutch and English communication skills. /p /li lipA practical engineering mindset and the ability to turn complex measurement problems into robust working solutions. /p /li /ul h3bPreferred experience /b /h3 ul lipExperience with cleanroom or high-vacuum environments. /p /li lipKnowledge of real-time image processing or machine learning for visual inspection. /p /li lipExperience working in multidisciplinary development teams for complex high-tech systems. /p /li /ul h3bWhat we offer /b /h3 ul lip€3,500 to €5,500 gross per month, based on experience and a 40-hour workweek. /p /li lip30 vacation days per year. /p /li lipPension scheme with two-thirds of the premium paid by the employer. /p /li lipTravel allowance and home working allowance where applicable. /p /li lipChallenging projects for leading high-tech customers. /p /li lipA multidisciplinary team with physics, software, electronics, mechanics and systems expertise under one roof. /p /li lipShort lines, real responsibility and room to grow as a specialist or lead engineer. /p /li /ul pAt STTLS, you work close to the technology, close to the team and close to the result.
