We offer a highly dynamic, international work environment in which our associates thrive. /p h3Your new work environment /h3 pIn this role, you will be part of the NFR Netherlands team responsible for strategic sourcing of indirect products and/ or services within one of the NfR categories; construction. /p pThe Not For Resale (NFR) sourcing organization leverages Ahold Delhaize’s European footprint to drive savings by running both local and cross‑border sourcing events across six countries. As part of this team, Strategic Sourcing Managers collaborate closely with stakeholders from strong local brands to source all non‑resale goods and services, acting as one company toward suppliers to deliver greater value. As the Strategic Sourcing Manager Construction, you will be managing the sourcing of goods and services related to the building, remodeling, and maintenance of our stores andwarehouses with a strong focus on total cost of ownership. You know how to work with suppliers, understand what drives costs, and bring different stakeholders together to deliver results. /p pYou’ll thrive in this role if you have: /p ul liExperience in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally within construction, remodeling, maintenance, or a related industry. /li liThe ability to lead complex projects from opportunity identification through to successful delivery. /li liA good understanding of construction and building materials, including cost structures, supplier markets, and industry practices. /li liStrong commercial and negotiation skills, with a natural curiosity to challenge the status quo and find better ways of working. /li liA collaborative, proactive mindset, enjoying working with colleagues across Facilities, Construction, Finance, Legal, and different European markets. /li liAn analytical and strategic approach, spotting opportunities to improve efficiency, drive innovation, optimize costs, and create value at scale. /li liOutspoken communication skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch as well as in English /li /ul pMost importantly, you don’t have to meet every single requirement.
