Turner Townsend and CBRE work together to provide clients with the premier programme, project and cost management offering in markets around the world. /ppSenior Cost Estimators in the Energy and Natural Resources division develop cost estimates control structures of Oil Gas, Mining, Chemicals and Clean Energies Decarbonisation projects and programmes of various sizes, depending upon their complexity (over 500M€). These services are delivered in CAPEX and OPEX projects from Concept and Order of Magnitude to Close-out levels, as well as in all project life cycles (pre-FEED, FEED, tendering, EPC, ...). /ppSenior Cost Estimators undertake the above while maintaining a strong commercial relationship with the clients, using effective communication techniques, and ensuring client satisfaction. /ppbKey accountabilities /b /ppService Delivery /pulliApply first principles estimating in the Energy and Resources sector /liliPrepare capital cost estimates to meet industry standard estimate classification guidelines /liliApply and efficiently utilise approved work breakdown and cost breakdown structures /liliSupport key tendering activities, including preparation of pre-tender estimates /liliAnalyse project change and the provision of feedback on areas of risk and opportunities /liliWork collaboratively and seamlessly with all other key project and programme functions such as cost, risk, and planning teams /liliAnalyse and assess costs and estimates provided by suppliers and contractors /liliProvide process and technical estimating support production of feasibility studies /liliProvide estimating support to manage project budget and scope (Value Engineering) /li /ulpBusiness Generation /pulliSupport the development of allocated sector/ service/ client marketing action plans. /liliProvide and update contact and lead information for incorporation onto the database. /liliMaintain client care activity for the commissions either under your control or that you are working on. /liliProduce / maintain case studies for commissions either under your control or that you are working on. /liliIdentifying cross selling opportunities with current clients. /liliIdentifying new opportunities with current clients. /liliSupport new bids. /liliSupport Group marketing initiatives. /li /ululliBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. /liliMinimum of 10 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably within the Energy and Natural Resources sector. /liliStrong analytical and numerical skills. /liliProficiency in estimation software (e.g., OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam). /liliExcellent communication and negotiation skills. /liliAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously. /liliKnowledge of industry standards and best practices. /li /ulpPreferred Qualifications: /pulliExperience with large-scale projects ($100M - $20B). /liliFamiliarity with civil/site construction, mechanical and electrical systems, and structural systems. /li /ulpAt Turner Townsend, we provide a friendly, diverse, and stimulating place to work.
