KRUSH Labs is seeking a Senior Optics Engineer for design and development of high-performance optical systems that power a multi-rotor UAV/drone camera.
The role defines full technical ownership of custom camera assemblies, defining optical architectures, specifying modules and components, and evaluating key elements such as lenses and image sensors.

Creating requirements for contractors
Develop and execute optical test and validation plans
Own end-to-end product performance, including image quality, resolution, sharpness, dynamic range, low-light performance, and environmental robustness
Drive opto-mechanical integration in close collaboration with RF, electrical, and firmware teams
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

• Strong expertise in optical design and analysis
• Hands-on experience with camera hardware, including lens and sensor selection, module assembly, and precision alignment
• Solid understanding of image quality metrics and camera characterization
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug system-level image quality issues, from prototype to field deployment
