Legal Counsel

We’re looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial and proactive Fractional Legal Counsel to help lay the foundation of our Legal department. A key initial responsibility of this role will be to set up and maintain a comprehensive virtual legal info space, ensuring all core legal documentation is collected, reviewed, structured, and completed where gaps exist.

You will lead brand protection efforts against copycats, manage IP infringements online and offline, and provide pragmatic legal guidance in a fast-moving, product-driven e-commerce environment.

Legal foundation & virtual info space ownership

Set up, structure, and maintain a virtual legal info space as the single source of truth for all legal documentation.

IP registrations, contracts, corporate records, policies).

Ensure the virtual legal info space is kept accurate, current, and audit-ready over time.

Monitor online platforms, marketplaces, websites, and social media for IP violations.

Interpret data and reports to identify trends, risks, and strategic enforcement priorities.

Ad-hoc legal support

Advise internal teams on legal risks, trade-offs, and practical solutions.

Prepare legal documentation, evidence, and case files to support enforcement or other legal actions.

Liaise with external counsel when needed to resolve complex or country-specific matters.

A well-structured, complete, and continuously maintained virtual legal info space.

Clear, actionable legal guidance that enables business teams to operate safely and efficiently.

Have strong experience with IP law, brand protection, and anti-counterfeiting.

Are fluent in and English, spoken and written. Dutch is a plus.

Are confident working with brand protection partners and external counsel.
