As a Backend Engineer at BridgeFund, you will help build and evolve the services that power our lending platform. You will join one of our engineering teams and contribute across the stack, working with technologies such as Node.js, Python and Go. You take part in agile rituals, discuss ideas with other engineers and regularly connect with your Team Lead in 1:1s to review progress and development. Over time, you will also help modernise our landscape by retiring legacy components and improving scalability across our core services.

Develop backend functionality using Node.js, Python and/or Go

Deploy and maintain services in a modern cloud environment

Work with your team to gradually retire legacy systems and replace them with scalable services

Participate in agile rituals such as stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives

Collaborate with engineers, architects and product teams to design technical solutions

A minimum of 4years of experience in software engineering

Experience building backend services in Node.js, Python and Go

Comfortable working in agile engineering teams

Strong communication skills and good verbal English

Experience in startups, scale-ups or fintech environments is a plus
