Software Engineer (Trading / Rust / C++)

ppAs a C++ / Rust Developer in either the Pircing or Market Making team, you will design and build high-performance systems and plug-ins for order placement or market making infrastructure, around core trading and risk frameworks. Working closely with Quantitative Traders, Researchers and other engineering teams you will build these mainly in Tbricks. /p pYour work directly impacts trading performance. You will help ensure systems accurately handle risk, process market data, and respond dynamically to changing market conditions. The organization is gradually adopting Rust and FPGA implementation is on the roadmap. Furthermore, they promote a culture of active collaboration, initiative and ownership. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ and/or Rust code with the following purpose: /p ul liThe pricing team builds and maintains the algorithms that determine prices, feeding off two main data streams: signals coming in from internal traders (their positions, views, or activity) and data pulled from external sources (market feeds, reference data, exchanges, etc.). Their job is to turn that raw input into accurate, real-time prices that the rest of the business can rely on. /li liThe Market Making team focuses on building custom plugins for liquidity providers and market-making infrastructure, interfacing with risk systems and trading strategies. /li /ul h3You're expected to: /h3 ul liWrite clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code /li liCollaborate closely with colleagues from other teams to refine requirements and deliver impactful solutions /li liContribute to architectural decisions and system performance improvements /li liSupport containerized deployments (Kubernetes) and production environments /li liActively contribute to Agile ways of working, including participating in and potentially facilitating Sprint Planning, Poker Estimations, and Retrospectives /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 pYou're based in, or willing to relocate to, Amsterdam (from within Europe). Sponsorship (extension) can only be offered to candidates already based in The Netherlands /p h3Education Experience: /h3 ul liBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field /li li4+ years of professional experience in a relevant software engineering environment /li liExperience with low-latency, parallel and/or distributed systems. /li liFull SDLC experience and comfortable with Agile and sprint planning /li /ul h3Programming Languages / technologies: /h3 ul liC++: Minimum 4 years of professional experience (core requirement). /li liRust: Minimum 2 years of experience (personal, academic, or non-professional experience is acceptable).
