The team has a flat structure, values entrepreneurial spirit, and encourages initiative, while fostering well-being and knowledge-sharing so everyone can grow. /ppAs a Data Engineer Consultant, you will work on various client projects as well as on building Sia AI solutions together with the French Data Engineering team. /ph3Job description /h3ulliCloud services across GCP, AWS, and Azure: architecture choices, use of storage and compute services, cost monitoring and optimization, role management, Infrastructure as Code /liliDocker and Kubernetes: containerization and orchestration of applications, management of Kubernetes clusters adapted to Data Science workloads /liliPython programming: development of server-side tools such as bulk data processing, REST API servers, and authentication /liliCI/CD: managing the integration and ongoing deployment of applications and internal platforms, supporting the deployment of Data Science projects at client sites /liliData pipelines: development of ETL scripts in Big Data environments /liliInfrastructure and services adapted to Machine Learning: technology watch and implementation of solutions useful to Data Scientists in the training and deployment of ML models /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliYou hold a Master’s degree with a strong quantitative component, such as Econometrics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Quantitative Finance /liliYou have 1–3 years of relevant experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering /liliYou have a good level in Python and a solid foundation in other languages. You are familiar with at least one SQL DBMS, ideally PostgreSQL, and ideally NoSQL, preferably MongoDB /liliYou are already familiar with at least one cloud services platform, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, with experience combining different services within the same project, or you have a strong appetite to learn more about these topics /liliYou are comfortable using Docker, automating CI/CD pipelines, and are eager to build competence in Kubernetes if you do not yet have experience with it /liliYou can work in a DevOps culture, taking responsibility for the code lifecycle from development to deployment and maintenance of applications. Mastery of the GitLab CE ecosystem is a plus.
