Join us as the Global Quality Control Assurance Manager. /p pbAbout the vacancy /b /p pTo support our further worldwide growth and our corporate structure, we are looking qualified candidate to lead our Quality Control Assurance programme in harmony with our Development Organisation. /p pThis individual shall possess all skills experience to redefine, implement and manage the NewCold QAQC processes within the NewCold development organization. The Development Organisation is responsible for the planning, design and realisation of our cold stores worldwide, from concept design to final commissioning and handover to the internal client, NewCold Operations. /p pOur projects are typically realised by a combination of one general contractor and several specialist (direct appointed) contractors such as for racking, cooling, material handling equipment and so forth. /p pThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in the field of Quality Assurance in a similar role either for an end user or for a contractor with a proven history of both self-drive and successful team management. /p pThe goal is to ensure that worldwide our projects are consistently and systematically delivered in line with the quality standards as set out by NewCold, including documentation supporting this. /p pThis role reports to the Head of Global PSO. /p h3DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liEvaluate current QA/QC standards and processes along with the NewCold way of working. /li liSet up quality management processes to guarantee compliant delivery of our projects. /li liCommunicate and implement these processes. /li liFunctionally responsible for the staff implementing the quality process on site. /li liAudit the adherence to the process on our sites worldwide. /li liAssist the project staff in reviewing QAQC documentation issued to NewCold for approval. /li liAssist and advise in recruitment / selection of project staff related to QAQC. /li liAssist in preparing the content of the quality standards that govern our projects. /li liReport on a frequent basis to management typical quality related KPIs. /li liWork closely together with the project directors / construction managers to improve the quality culture in the projects /li /ul h3Who are we looking for? /h3 ul liDegree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. /li liAt least 10 years of relevant experience related to construction projects. /li liEvidence of a strong background in Quality Management, and preferably in setting up QA processes from scratch. /li liWilling to be travel internationally. /li liWilling to work 80% in the head office in Breda, apart from travelling. /li liComfortable working in a dynamic work environment. /li liProficient in English, verbally and in writing. /li liOutstanding communication skills. /li liExcellent skills in demonstrating to stakeholders the importance and benefits of implementing a robust QAQC process. /li liSelf-starter and a team player with strong leadership abilities. /li liA big ‘plus’ is having experience with HSE related matters. /li /ul h3Why would you want to work for NewCold? /h3 pWith the prospect of many new construction projects, NewCold offers the opportunity to join a young but powerful company in the field of logistic services.
