Senior International Construction Project Leader

ppWe are Van Wijnen Engineering, a developer, engineering bureau, construction and real estate management company, working on sustainable and affordable solutions in the Netherlands. In this role you will be a senior construction engineer and project leader, responsible for coordinating a team of constructors in Belgrade and ensuring the quality, planning, and execution of construction projects. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liBearing the end responsibility for construction projects provided to the Belgrade team. /li liMaintaining internal client contact with customers and project leaders. /li liPreparing, allocating, and explaining construction assignments to the Belgrade team. /li liMonitoring planning, progress, and capacity of the projects. /li liChecking and evaluating hand‑in calculations, models and documents for quality. /li liIdentifying risks, deviations and optimisation opportunities in design and execution. /li liDriving the development and safeguarding of processes related to international collaboration. /li liOnboarding new employees in Belgrade and accompanying them during the first year; travelling to Serbia for face‑to‑face discussions and occasional follow‑ups. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liCompetitive gross monthly salary between €4,500 and €6,300, based on full‑time employment (excluding holiday pay and incentive scheme). /li liExtensive professional development through the Van Wijnen College, covering foundations, ground mechanics, timber frame construction, Eurocodes, and more. /li li8.3% holiday pay paid in May and a performance‑based incentive scheme. /li liCompany collective agreement linked to the construction sector: 26 vacation days plus 11 additional hard‑set leave days (based on 40 hours). /li liCompany‑provided smartphone and laptop, plus support for a home office set‑up. /li liReimbursement of work‑related travel expenses. /li liEmployer contribution to supplementary health insurance. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liA bachelor's or master’s degree in Construction Engineering or Civil Engineering, specializing in construction. /li li5 to 10 years of professional experience in construction engineering (experience in residential or commercial construction is an advantage). /li liDesire to broaden the role towards project leadership and international cooperation. /li liFluency in Dutch and English. /li liAffinity for concrete construction and experience in designing and detailing concrete main and detail structures. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
