As our new FB Community Manager, you have a helicopter view of what goes on in the restaurant, meeting event spaces, STACH and coworking. Above all, you are a people person, a natural leader who takes enormous pride in recruiting, training, and developing a top-tier staff. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France and Spain with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global. /ppstrongWhat You’ll Do /strong /pulliEnsure all resources are available to staff to enable them to perform their tasks in a proper and timely manner /liliBe a big part of managing our new FB experience, which is in the process of being upgraded /liliTake part in the service - informing guests of the menu, assisting with drink- and dinner choices, taking orders, communicating with kitchen, preparing drinks simple snacks and serving of dishes /liliMonitor accurate execution of HACCP guidelines, fire safety policy and working conditions /liliBeing part of- and working closely together with the management team of TSH Rotterdam /liliBring forward innovations and improvements in (amongst else, but not exclusively) menu design, restaurant set-up, team organisation, etc. /liliMonitor costs suppliers – identifying opportunities to reduce costs /liliResponsible for recruitment and proper onboarding of temporary and permanent staff /liliYou’ll guide the team with on the job training, making service more efficient, and be the face of the restaurant /liliScheduling of staff according to business and staff needs – including review and approval/denial of leave requests /liliResponsible for proper Performance Management of all restaurant staff – including goal setting, mid-year year-end review conversations /li /ulpstrongWho You Are /strong /pulliMinimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a managerial role at a similar level restaurant /liliStrong knowledge of drinks and food according to market standards /liliYou’re a people person who loves connecting with guests from all walks of life /liliYou’re a true problem-solver and are not afraid to make decisions in the moment /liliExcellent knowledge of restaurant service standards /liliYou’re fluent in English – Know other languages?
