ph3Project Engineer – Offshore Decommissioning /h3 pLocation: Hoofddorp, NL /p pContract: 1-year (intent to convert to permanent) /p pAvailability: Full-time /p pRemote: Partial flexibility after onboarding /p h3Company Overview /h3 pPetrodec is a leading contractor in offshore oil and gas decommissioning, delivering innovative and safe solutions from well abandonment to full topside and subsea removal. /p pWith projects secured through 2029, Petrodec offers a dynamic environment where engineering professionals can drive responsible energy transition and deliver impactful offshore operations. /p h3Role Purpose / Summary /h3 pThe Project Engineer is responsible for the planning and execution readiness of complex offshore decommissioning operations. /p pThis role ensures technical integrity, operational efficiency, and successful collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop engineering method statements for onshore and offshore execution. /li liPrepare lifting plans including drawings and rigging calculations. /li liDefine scopes for rope access, scaffolding, welding, and subsea ROV. /li liProduce MTOs, mobilization plans, and equipment lists. /li liConduct site surveys and fabrication follow-ups; issue visit reports. /li liSupport vessel mobilization and yard activities before execution. /li liInterface with subcontractors and clients to resolve technical issues. /li liEnsure compliance with HSE requirements and project documentation. /li liMaintain accurate project documentation and registers. /li liSupport the Project Manager to deliver work on time and within scope. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Naval, or Structural Engineering. /li liMinimum 5 years’ offshore project engineering experience. /li liProven involvement in decommissioning, topside removal, or load-in/load-out campaigns. /li liDirect hands‑on offshore execution experience. /li liStrong knowledge of offshore construction and lifting operations. /li liAbility to perform and review engineering documentation. /li liProficient in AutoCAD for design and planning. /li liStrong organizational and reporting skills. /li liWillingness to travel offshore (up to 3 weeks, 1–2 times/year). /li liFluency in English (written and spoken). /li /ul h3Compensation Benefits /h3 ul liCompetitive salary aligned with experience. /li liPension plan and 25 vacation days with travel reimbursement. /li liHybrid work possibility after onboarding. /li liCareer development opportunities in a growing international business. /li /ul h3Application Process / Equal Opportunity /h3 pPetrodec is an equal opportunity employer — we value diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
