These countries include Netherlands, United Kingdom, Estonia, Finland and India. This leader will manage a team of HR professionals located in various countries and have direct reports who themselves lead local HR teams. The role includes oversight of HR activities at both business and manufacturing sites. It requires a strong understanding of diverse cultural, legal, and business environments and the ability to drive HR strategies that support business growth, employee engagement, and organizational development. This role also aligns and coordinates closely with Regional Eastman Leaders, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HR Business Partners based in the United States at Eastman’s corporate headquarters and collaborates with regional HR peers in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. /p pbKey Responsibilities: /b /p ul liProvide strategic HR leadership and direction across the defined European region and India, aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives. /li liLead, develop, and manage a team of HR leaders and professionals based in multiple countries, fostering collaboration and alignment. /li liDevelop positive relationships and partnerships across the organization in support of leaders. /li liPartner with senior business leaders to understand their workforce needs and provide HR solutions that support business performance. /li liOversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development programs regionally in partnership with HR COEs. /li liEnsure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across all countries within the region. /li liDrive employee engagement initiatives. /li liCollaborate and share best practices with other regional HR peers in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Latin America regions. /li liManage regional HR budgets and resources efficiently. /li liLead organizational change management efforts, including restructuring, MA, or cultural transformation initiatives. /li liDevelop and implement HR policies and practices that are consistent yet adaptable to local market conditions. /li liMonitor HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. /li liServe as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees on complex HR issues and challenges. /li liOversee HR functions at both business and manufacturing sites to ensure alignment and support for diverse operational needs. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required (Master’s degree preferred). /li liExtensive experience (typically 5+ years) in HR leadership roles within the European region. /li liExperience leading projects, driving results, and partnering with stakeholders internationally. /li liProven track record of managing multi-country HR teams and complex organizational structures. /li liExperience supporting HR in both corporate/commercial and manufacturing or industrial site environments preferred. /li liDeep knowledge of regional labor laws, employment standards, and cultural nuances. /li liStrong strategic thinking, leadership, and interpersonal skills. /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. /li liExperience with HR systems and data analytics. /li /ul pbTravel Requirements: /b /p ul liSome travel (10-30%) within the defined EMEA region and India to engage with local teams and business leaders at both business and manufacturing sites. /li /ul pCompensation is based on qualifications and experience. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
