This position is based in Vlissingen Rotterdam. /ppbJob Description /bbr/As an Electrical Engineer, you play a crucial role in the construction and commissioning of naval vessels equipped with robust and efficient electrical systems. You will be responsible for developing electrical designs and ensuring strict compliance with applicable regulations and customer specifications. From load calculations and power distribution to cable routing: you ensure systems remain fully operational under the most demanding conditions. You work in a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment and ensure thorough validation throughout both the design and production phases. /ppbYour responsibilities as Electrical Engineer: /b /pulliDeveloping functional descriptions, drawings, and technical documentation for power distribution and electrical systems; /liliPreparing and maintaining specification documents for electrical components and installations; /liliDrafting detailed test and validation plans to ensure regulatory compliance; /liliCoordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely project contributions; /liliReviewing supplier designs and integrating them into the vessel’s design; /liliDeveloping and documenting standards and work methods for detailed engineering and commissioning; /liliProviding technical support during the proposal phase and creating conceptual electrical system designs; /liliSupporting commissioning and start-up activities during project execution. /li /ulpbJob Requirements /b /pulliMinimum of 3 years’ experience designing complex electrical systems, preferably in maritime, offshore, or aerospace industries; /liliExperience working on multidisciplinary projects involving multiple suppliers and subcontractors; /liliKnowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and working according to the V-model methodology; /liliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; /liliFamiliarity with EMC-compliant design and experience with TEMPEST regulations is a plus; /liliStrong communication skills in English (written and spoken). /li /ulpbEmployment Conditions /b /pulliAttractive salary up to €7,500 gross per month plus 8% holiday allowance; /lili27 vacation days and 13 additional days off (ADV days); /liliTravel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer; /liliPME pension scheme with 60% employer contribution; /liliProfit-sharing scheme and remote working options; /liliSecondary benefits including a bicycle plan and corporate fitness program. /li /ulpbNote: /b Due to the military nature of the projects, only candidates with permanent EU nationality are eligible.
