Engineer II, Analog Mixed-Signal Design

ph3Job Summary /h3 pThe Analog Mixed-Signal Circuit Design Engineer contributes to building precision timing circuits, leveraging SiTime’s industry‑leading MEMS technology. These products have applications ranging from high-performance Networking and Communications Infrastructure to ultra‑low power Mobile platforms, including wearable devices. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign analog and mixed‑signal circuits meeting architectural requirements and technical specifications /li liContribute to the architectural definition of the design and chip integration /li liPerform calculations, design and verification simulations to ensure building blocks meet specifications at the schematic level and after post‑layout extraction, while fully provisioning for DFT and DFM /li liWork closely with Layout Engineers to validate proper layout, using all best‑known methods /li liDocument assigned blocks, and hold preliminary and final design review meetings /li liActively participate in the chip bring‑up, evaluation and characterization, with emphasis on owned blocks /li liWork cross‑functionally with Product, Characterization, Test, and Application Engineers on issues related to owned circuit blocks /li liSupport other projects as needed by management or as business needs change /li /ul h3Qualifications Requirements /h3 ul liM.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering /li liExcellent academic record with published research projects prototyped and proven in silicon /li liDetailed knowledge of CMOS circuits and noise analysis /li liGraduate coursework and design expertise in one or more of the following analog blocks:ul liInteger‑N and fractional‑N PLLs /li liTemperature sensors /li liSigma‑delta ADCs /li liAnalog and digital filters /li liDifferential and cascode amplifiers /li liLow‑noise buffers /li liHigh‑speed output drivers /li liSub‑threshold circuits /li liLow‑noise regulator and bandgap circuits /li /ul /li liKnowledge of programming languages: MATLAB, VerilogA /li liProficient in using Cadence analog design tools /li liAbility to oversee circuit layout for critical blocks /li /ul h3Desired Characteristics Attributes /h3 ul liPassionate, self‑starter with strong commitment to flawless execution /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills required /li liAbility to work well with others in a collaborative, fast‑paced team environment /li /ul pSiTime is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
