Innatera's technology serves as a critical enabler for next‑generation use cases in the IoT, wearable, embedded, and automotive domains. /p pWe are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic bSystem Engineer (Linux) with DevOps and CI/CD /bexperience to help our growing RD Engineering team and manage our expanding compute server infrastructure used by our global RD teams for chip design. This is a mission-critical role and an opportunity to do deeply impactful work. /p h3We will trust you with: /h3 ul lipbInfrastructure Lifecycle Management: /b Setting up and maintaining Linux-based compute servers and desktops/notebooks, and providing end-user support to our engineering teams; /p /li lipbScripting Automation Deployment: /b Design, implement, and scale automated OS deployment and configuration management frameworks (Ansible, Cobbler, Uyuni, FreeIPA) to minimize manual intervention and ensure consistent system state /p /li lipbCI/CD DevOps Integration: /b Collaborate with software engineering teams to bridge the gap between development and operations, specifically by integrating and enhancing GitLab CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery /p /li lipbDistributed Storage tuning: /b Architect, maintain, and optimize Ceph (CephFS/RBD) distributed storage infrastructure to deliver the high-throughput, low‑latency I/O required for engineering workloads. /p /li lipbDocumentation Knowledge Sharing: /b Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and team efficiency. /p /li lipbDatacenter Operations Strategy: /b In addition to the above, actively assist with physical datacenter operations, including racking, cabling, and servicing servers and network equipment to maintain and optimize our infrastructure. /p /li /ul h3Your experience includes: /h3 ul lip5+ years of experience managing complex, on-prem Linux compute environments, with a proven track record of supporting mission-critical RD operations. /p /li lipExperience building and maintaining automated provisioning workflows and configuration management frameworks using industry-standard tooling (Ansible, Cobbler, Uyuni, FreeIPA). /p /li lipProven proficiency in designing, maintaining, and integrating GitLab CI/CD pipelines within complex SDLC. /p /li lipGood knowledge in the full lifecycle management of virtualized environments (VMware/Proxmox) and high-resiliency distributed storage clusters (Ceph/CephFS). /p /li lipExperience in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimizing Linux distributions (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu) within bare-metal and virtual infrastructure /p /li lipSolid foundation in managing end-user Linux systems, with a working knowledge of macOS and Windows environments, including hardware lifecycle support. /p /li lipProven experience in creating and maintaining clear, accurate, and structured technical documentation for complex IT infrastructure, system procedures, and architectural standards. /p /li lipComfortable with sprint work, with certain periods of high and low work variability /p /li /ul h3Nice to have: /h3 ul lipKnowledge of implementing and managing chip design tool installations within on-prem infrastructure, e.g., Cadence and Siemens tools, is a plus; /p /li lipExperience in setting up and maintaining the NIS2 security standard. /p /li /ul h3What you need to succeed: /h3 ul lipBeing comfortable working within changing dynamic priorities and deadlines; /p /li lipAble to handle high-end/low workload (e.g., tape-out phase); /p /li lipHaving a "Can-do" attitude and being a resilient problem-solver; /p /li lipA self-starter with excellent communication and a customer-oriented mindset. /p /li /ul h3We offer you: /h3 pAt Innatera, you'll be part of a team shaping the future of AI hardware.
