Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Chef de Partie to oversee a specific section of the kitchen and ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. The ideal candidate thrives in a refined dining environment, demonstrates strong technical skills, and maintains consistency under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry, garde manger).

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.

• Ensure mise en place is prepared efficiently and accurately for service.

• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and plating.

• Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering needs to the Sous Chef.

• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

• Assist in menu development and tastings as required.

• Support smooth service operations and collaborate with the wider kitchen team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in a refined or fine dining establishment.

• Culinary qualification or relevant professional training preferred.

• Strong knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques.

• Understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure service environment.

• Strong team player with clear communication skills.
