We are looking to expand our team with a bMeasurement Automation Scientist /b. As a member of our team, you will help develop and characterize the next generation of integrated quantum devices and take their performance to the next level. You will join one of the world’s leading groups in microwave to optical transducers. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOptical and microwave measurements of microwave-to-optics transducers /li liAutomating the measurement and analysis process /li liDatabase construction and management for tracking trends in devices /li liDetermining the properties of devices and the impact of RD developments /li liFeeding back on results and suggesting changes for future devices /li liWorking in collaboration with fabrication, design and simulation scientists /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liPhD or at least four years industry experience in electrical engineering, computer science, photonics, optics or related field /li liProficiency with Python for scientific use /li liAt least two years automation experience in optical or other positioning setup alignment /li liAt least two years of experience constructing and managing databases and extracting trends from large data sets /li liExperience with integrated photonics, MEMs or semiconductor test and measurement /li liAbility to work collaboratively with a diverse team /li liAn organized and rigorous working style /li liAbility to come up with practical actions to deal with issues /li /ul h3Supplementary Skills /h3 ul liExperience with quality management or quality control /li liExperience with quantum transducers, optomechanics, or quantum physics /li /ul h3Ideal Candidate /h3 pOur ideal candidate would be self‑motivated with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring transparency and informed decision‑making within our organization.
