Senior Infrastructure & Security Architect

ph3Build the secure foundation for our digital operations /h3 pAt Planon, part of Schneider Electric, this role owns the design, reliability and continuous improvement of our internal infrastructure, cloud, identity and security architecture. You will translate business continuity, security, compliance and operational needs into practical standards, architecture decisions and implementation roadmaps. /p pThis is a senior, hands on role. You will advise on direction and governance, while also stepping into complex operational issues, working with colleagues to identify root causes and turn decisions into sustainable solutions. You will collaborate across infrastructure, applications, data and AI as part of one Digital Operations team serving our global organization. /p h3What we can challenge you with: /h3 ul liDesign and review secure, scalable architecture across Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, hybrid infrastructure and the digital workplace. /li liTranslate business, security and operational requirements into technical designs, architecture decisions, standards and implementation roadmaps. /li liDefine and embed security baselines, hardening measures, Zero Trust controls and secure-by-design patterns. /li liLead complex infrastructure, migration, integration and transformation initiatives from strategy through implementation. /li liAssess technical changes and architecture proposals for risk, compliance, scalability, resilience and operational impact. /li liAutomate infrastructure operations and lifecycle management using PowerShell, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code and relevant automation tooling. /li liSupport complex incidents, problems and change management by investigating root causes, coordinating remediation and ensuring structural improvements. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 pA company is nothing without its people. You communicate clearly, bring colleagues together and take ownership from architecture through remediation. /p h3This role is a great fit if you: /h3 ul liMinium of 7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, cloud, identity and/or security architecture. with experience in migrations. /li liDemonstrable expertise with Azure (incl network) DevOps, Intune, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and hybrid infrastructure environments. /li liExperience with backup, disaster recovery and defining RTO/RPO requirements. /li liKnowledge of Microsoft Defender, Sophos, Azure Monitor, Intune and vulnerability management. /li liStrong knowledge of enterprise networking, Windows and Linux Server, Active Directory and virtualization with VMware. /li liWorking knowledge of IAM, SSO, RBAC, Conditional Access, enterprise applications, Secret/certificate management API's and Zero Trust principles. /li liExperience translating security and compliance requirements into implementable technical controls and operating practices. /li liCombine architectural ownership with hands-on troubleshooting of complex infrastructure or security issues, driving sustainable remediation. /li liWillingness to monitor continuity and implement improvements during standby shifts, including outside office hours. /li liProfessional fluency in English and willingness to work hybrid from our Nijmegen HQ at least two days per week. /li /ul h3Good-to-haves /h3 ul liExperience with PowerShell, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code or comparable automation tooling. /li liKnowledge of ISO 27001, NIS2, SOC 2, C5 and GDPR-related infrastructure controls. /li liRelevant infrastructure, cloud or security education and certifications. /li liExperience in a growing SaaS, Shared Services or global enterprise environment. /li liFamiliarity with TOGAF, Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework or Azure Well-Architected Framework. /li /ul h3We offer /h3 pWe offer a healthy work-life balance with the flexibility of hybrid working, in a collaborative and learning-oriented environment with opportunities for continuous development. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role, based on objective, role-related criteria.
