ph3Job description /h3 pAs a Radio Frequency Engineer in the Research Development department, you’ll work on new developments for the next generation of ISISPACE spacecraft. Together with your colleagues you will both design and verify RF systems as they progress from concept to deployment. You will be responsible for the RF performance of spacecraft equipment, as well as addressing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) concerns. /p pbYour main responsibilities: /b /p ul lipDesign of RF systems for our spacecraft, including component selection and architecture definition. /p /li lipCollaboration with electronics, software, and mechanical engineers to build prototypes and engineering models. /p /li lipSimulation of proposed systems in order to inform the design process. /p /li lipDevelop and execute test plans to validate RF system performance and ensure compliance with requirements. /p /li lipAnalyse data from RF tests and simulations to diagnose issues, optimize system performance, and propose innovative solutions. /p /li lipIdentify and mitigate RF-related issues, such as interference, noise, and EMI/EMC /p /li lipPrepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and compliance documentation. /p /li /ul h3Job requirements /h3 pbJob requirements /b /p pbPrerequisites: /b /p ul lipTechnical Education with a Radio Frequency engineering component (e.g BEng, BSc, or MSc); bor /b equivalent educational / practical background /p /li lipDemonstrable experience of designing and building RF systems to a high standard /p /li lipAt least 2 years of experience in RF engineering, RF system design or a related field. /p /li lipIn-depth knowledge of RF theory, microwave engineering, antenna design principles. /p /li lipProven experience with RF system simulation and modelling tools (e.g., CST, Python). /p /li lipExperience with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analysers, network analysers, oscilloscopes) and EMI/EMC testing equipment. /p /li lipExperience with designing for EMI/EMC compliance, including knowledge of grounding, shielding, filtering, and layout techniques. /p /li lipGood communication skills in English (spoken and written). /p /li lipAbility to work independently, think critically, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. /p /li /ul pbDesired but not essential experience: /b /p ul lipFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and technical standards (e.g., CISPR, MIL-STD, ECSS, CCSDS, ETSI, ITU). /p /li lipFamiliarity with PCB layout and design for RF systems. /p /li lipHands‑on experience with developing and prototyping RF and analogue electronic systems and / or antennas. /p /li lipExperience in developing software tools for RF and EMI/EMC testing and analysis. /p /li /ul pHybrid /p pDelft, Netherlands /p p€4,033 - €5,120 per month /p pResearch Development /p por /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
