Sr. Pricing Analyst - Ocean

ppThe Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting ocean freight pricing activities, carrier cost analysis, RFQ responses, and internal pricing governance. This role works closely with Product, Sales, Operations, and carrier partners to ensure competitive and profitable ocean pricing solutions are provided to customers.br/ /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liAnalyze ocean freight rates, surcharges, market trends, and carrier cost structures. /li liPrepare pricing for customer RFQs, spot quotes, and contract opportunities. /li liSupport ocean product strategy by identifying market gaps, margin risks, and carrier competitiveness. /li liMaintain and update ocean rate files, tariffs, and pricing tools. /li liReview carrier offers and compare against market benchmarks. /li liCoordinate with regional and global Product teams to secure pricing and allocation support. /li liEnsure pricing aligns with internal margin guidelines, compliance requirements, and customer commitments. /li liMonitor rate validity, surcharge changes, GRIs, PSS, BAF, EFS, and other accessorial charges. /li liSupport reporting on pricing activity, win/loss analysis, and customer volume performance. /li liCommunicate clearly with Sales and Operations regarding pricing assumptions, validity, exceptions, and required follow-up. /li /ul h3Qualifications: /h3 ul liExperience in ocean freight pricing, procurement, forwarding, or logistics. /li liStrong understanding of FCL and LCL ocean freight, carrier contracts, surcharges, and trade lanes. /li liStrong Excel and analytical skills; Power BI or pricing system experience preferred. /li liAbility to manage multiple RFQs and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. /li liStrong communication skills and attention to detail. /li liKnowledge of CargoWise, Freightos/WebCargo, CargoSphere, or similar systems is a plus. /li /ul pAdditional European locations may be considered. /p pFedEx Logistics provides freight forwarding, as well as import and export services that allow companies to reach markets throughout the world.
