Our office is located in Haarlem, right next to the train station. /ph3Your role as Compliance Counsel Spain /h3pAs Compliance Counsel for Spain, you play a key role in growing RegLab's presence in the Spanish market and in our clients' success. You'll be part of both our Spanish country team and Compliance team. While the country team is based in Spain, you'll be based in our Haarlem office with the Compliance team, so you'll have a strong team around you from day one, both at the office and remotely. Spanish will be your main working language, and you are the expert who guides Spanish-speaking clients in complying with regulations such as the anti-money laundering legislation. You will: /pulliAdvise and support clients in implementing our software; /liliSupport clients with the obligations arising from the anti-money laundering legislation; /liliTravel regularly to Spain to visit clients on-site, assess compliance processes, provide advice, and draft tailored policies; /liliBuild strong relationships with Spanishlaw firms, notarial offices, and financial institutions, and act as their first point of contact; /liliBuild and maintain your own network within the Spanish legal and compliance community; /liliAnalyze client needs and translate them into improvements to our software and services;br/ /liliCollaborate with internal teams to optimize the client experience. /li /ulpIn short, you are not just a compliance expert, but also a trusted advisor who helps our Spanish clients excel and a driving force behind RegLab's growth in Spain. /ph3Who you are /h3pWe are looking for an enthusiastic professional with: /pulli3 to 5 years of relevant work experience at a trust office, financial institution, or legal advisory firm (such as a law firm or notarial practice), matching the scope and seniority of this role; /liliA strong affinity for compliance, regulation, and IT innovation; /liliExcellent communication and presentation skills; /liliA commercial mindset and a client-focused approach; /liliFluency in Spanish, this will be your main working language; /liliFluency in English; /liliBased in the Netherlands, with the flexibility to travel regularly to Spain for client visits. /liliYou already have the right to work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA citizenship or a valid Dutch work/residence permit). /li /ulh3What we offer you /h3pAt RegLab, you get all the room to develop yourself and make a real impact.
