SITE CONTROLLER – LELYSTAD

Location: Lelystad

Employment: 36–40 hours

Salary: €70,000–€75,000 + 5% bonus, including holiday allowance

Grafton is exclusively recruiting for an experienced Site Controller for a leading international logistics and supply chain organisation in Lelystad. This role is ideal for someone who wants genuine ownership and enjoys working directly with the operation.

You'll be responsible for the financial performance of the site and act as a business partner to the Site Manager. That means looking beyond the monthly numbers and understanding what is driving the result and what needs to happen next.

Your role

You will take responsibility for the financial control of the site and work closely with operational stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include:

• Advising the Site Manager and site leadership on financial and controlling matters
• Managing the full P&L
• Leading month-end and year-end closing
• Owning budgeting and weekly/monthly forecasting
• Taking corrective action where financial performance requires it
• Identifying and challenging cost drivers
• Maintaining effective internal controls
• Working with cross-functional teams to improve financial outcomes
• Supporting invoicing activities and discussing these with site management and customers

The role requires someone who can move comfortably between Finance and Operations .

What are we looking for?

You bring:

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Economics or a comparable discipline
• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in Finance and/or Controlling
• Experience as a Site Controller, Plant Controller, Business Controller or similar role
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong Excel and ERP skills
• A proactive and hands-on approach
• Fluent English
• Experience within logistics or 3PL is advantageous

You don't have to know everything from day one. What matters is that you are curious, commercially aware and confident enough to challenge the business when the numbers require it.
