Senior Finance Project Manager

ph3The role /h3pWe are looking for a Finance Project Manager to lead and coordinate large, strategically important projects with a significant financial impact on Fastned. This is a cross-functional role at the heart of the Finance domain. You will work across several finance disciplines and collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the business. Examples of projects include bank financing, MA execution, treasury management systems, strategic financing initiatives, and other complex projects requiring strong financial analysis, coordination and execution. You will bring structure to complex topics, connect the right experts, and ensure that projects progress from analysis and decision-making through to implementation. The role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and offers broad exposure to Fastned's business, financing strategy and growth ambitions. /ph3What you will do /h3ulliLead and coordinate large finance projects involving multiple disciplines, stakeholders and workstreams. /liliManage projects from initial scoping and analysis through to execution and completion. /liliCoordinate contributions from teams such as funding and treasury, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, controlling, accounting, tax, and legal where relevant. /liliPrepare high-quality financial analyses, business cases, models and decision materials for senior management and other stakeholders. /liliAssess the financial impact, risks, opportunities and dependencies associated with strategic projects. /liliTranslate complex financial and business topics into clear recommendations and actionable plans. /liliEstablish project governance, timelines, milestones, decision points and reporting. /liliIdentify issues early, manage dependencies and ensure timely escalation when required. /liliSupport bank financing projects, including financial analysis, preparation of financing materials, lender coordination, negotiations and execution. /liliSupport MA execution, including financial analysis, due diligence, transaction planning and post-completion activities. /liliContribute to strategic financing and capital allocation projects. /liliWork with internal and external advisors, lenders, investors and other counterparties when required. /liliHelp improve the way Fastned manages cross-functional finance projects and embeds learnings into recurring processes. /li /ulh3What you bring /h3ulli7+ years of relevant professional experience in finance, investment banking, transaction services, corporate finance, consulting, project management or a comparable field. /liliExperience leading complex, cross‑functional projects with multiple stakeholders. /liliStrong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and assess the financial implications of strategic decisions. /liliExperience with bank financing, MA transactions, due diligence or other high‑impact corporate finance initiatives. /liliExcellent project management and organisational skills. /liliThe ability to work independently, create structure in ambiguous situations and drive projects forward. /liliStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders. /liliA pragmatic and hands‑on approach, combined with sound judgement and attention to detail. /liliThe ability to balance strategic thinking with execution. /liliA relevant university degree in finance, economics, business administration, engineering or a related discipline. /liliProfessional fluency in English. /liliAdditional European languages are a plus. /li /ulh3Your working style /h3pYou are comfortable operating in a fast‑growing and changing environment.
