Product Owner - Manufacturing Systems (ERP, MRP, MES)

About Delft CircuitsbrBeschikt u over de volgende vaardigheden, ervaring en gedrevenheid om in deze functie te slagen? Ontdek het hieronder.brpQuantum computing is no longer a science experiment — it’s becoming an industry. The world’s largest technology companies and governments are racing to build quantum computers that will solve problems classical computers never can: drug discovery, materials science, logistics, cryptography. And every single one of those quantum computers needs to be connected. /pbrpThat’s where Delft Circuits comes in. /pbrpWe design and manufacture Cri/oFlex® — the cabling that makes quantum computers work. Our cables operate at temperatures colder than outer space, carrying signals reliably between the quantum processor and the room-temperature systems that control it. It sounds niche. It’s actually foundational: no cables, no quantum computer. /pbrpBased in Delft, we’re a team of ~50 engineers, physicists, and technicians who have built something genuinely hard and are now scaling it into a real product. We’re growing fast, our customers are the most ambitious technology organizations in the world, and we’re at that rare inflection point where a startup transitions from proving it can be done to proving it can be done at scale — consistently, reliably, for every customer. /pbrpIf you want to work on something that matters, in an industry that is genuinely taking off, and in a role where your decisions shape how the company operates for years to come — this is it. /pbrThe RolebrpWe run Odoo ERP across the company, with system ownership shared between roles. Our manufacturing module is up and running in a basic setup; our current scaling phase calls for taking it a step further. You’ll have the opportunity to take it to the next level and shape how manufacturing runs digitally. /pbrpWe are hiring a bProduct Owner – Manufacturing Systems /b to own this transformation end-to-end: assess and suggest improvement if necessary for the manufacturing data structure (products, BOMs, routings, processes), align it with stakeholders across the organization, manage our Odoo specialist implementation consultant, and drive implementation through to adoption. /pbrpThis is not a software project — it’s an operational transformation. You will be the person who bridges the precision of our manufacturing environment with the logic of an ERP system and brings our team along with it. /pbrpYou report directly to the COO. /pbrpThis is a new role and although the objective is clear, the actual activities of the role can be defined together. /pbrWhat You Will DobrpYour first deliverable is a complete picture: define the full Odoo manufacturing structure (products, BOMs, work centers, routings) and build a roadmap. There is a lot of information already available; the skill is to translate a long list of information and needs into an actual plan in smaller steps. The plan is ambitious and end-to-end — but execution is sprint-based. /pbrpPriority is to get the MRP basics up running asap. Production operations data should live in Odoo, and not in spreadsheets. /pbrEach sprint follows the same loop:brpbDefine /b — scope what this sprint will implement and what “done” looks like /pbrpbAlign /b — get stakeholder agreement before building, not after /pbrpbBuild /b — implement with our Odoo specialist and internal developers /pbrpbValidate /b — test with real users on real data /pbrpbAdopt /b — train, document, and make the change stick /pbrpbRetrospect /b — capture learnings and adjust the roadmap for the next sprint /pbrpbYou own the roadmap and the sprint priorities. /b You decide what comes next based on operational impact, dependencies, and what the team can absorb. /pbrpbStart with a plan — execute in sprints /b /pbrRequirementsbrHard requirementsbrullibr/lilibExperience in a manufacturing environment /b — you understand production floors, process flows, and why data quality at the source mattersbr/lilibExperience managing software projects or products /b — you have shipped something: an ERP module, an internal tool, a software implementation; you know how to define requirements, manage a specialist/consultant, and drive to a working outcomebr/lilibStakeholder management change management experience /b — you have successfully introduced new systems or processes to teams that were resistant or skeptical; you know how to bring people along without losing thembr/lilib7-10 years /b relevant professional experiencebr/lilibUniversity education /bin industrial engineering, software development or similar.br/li /ulbrStrong advantagesbrullibr/liliHands‑on experience with Odoo, or another MRP/MES/ERP system (SAP, IMES, Exact, NetSuite) in a manufacturing contextbr/liliFamiliarity with manufacturing data concepts: BOMs, routings, work orders, MRP logic, inventory valuationbr/liliExperience coordinating with programmers or technical teams — you don’t need to code, but you need to speak the language well enough to write a clear spec and challenge a technical decisionbr/liliBackground in high-mix low-volume, precision, or technical manufacturingbr/li /ulbrPersonal profilebrullibr/liliVery practical person, with a strong “getting things done” mentality.br/liliCan work independently within a clear mandate.br/liliOwner / entrepreneurial mindset.br/liliStructured and detail-oriented — master data errors cost weeks to fix; you prevent them upfrontbr/liliDiplomatically persistent — you hold the line on what the system needs while keeping stakeholders on sidebr/liliComfortable with ambiguity — we are a scale‑up; not everything is defined yet, and that’s part of the jobbr/liliFull-time, on‑site in Delft — this role requires presence; stakeholder trust is built in personbr/li /ulbrNot requiredbrpDeep Odoo technical/developer knowledge (we have a consultant / specialist for that) /pbrpExperience with cryogenic or semiconductor manufacturing (we will teach you what matters) /pbrWhy This RolebrDirect impact:brpyou will build the operational data backbone of a company at a genuinely important technology frontier /pbrReal ownership:brpthis is not a support role — you define the structure, manage the experts, and own the outcome /pbrGrowth path:brp as we scale, this role grows — into advanced analytics, manufacturing intelligence, and potentially proprietary tooling that becomes a competitive edge in the quantum hardware market /pbrpYou report to the COO, with full executive visibility and backing /pbrWhy Join Delft Circuits?brpAt Delft Circuits you will work on cutting‑edge cryogenic electronics that supports the scale‑up of quantum technologies. You’ll be part of a team that values curiosity, ownership and practical execution. We offer a collaborative environment that values inventive “beyond-the-box” thinking and where you’ll find: /pbrullibr/liliA 12-month contract with intention to extend to indefinitebr/liliFull-time position (36 hours per week)br/liliA competitive salary based on your relevant experience of b€ 69.375 – € 82.231 /b per year (including 8% holiday allowance paid out in May)br/liliCAO Metalektrobr/liliPension scheme (PME)br/liliTravel reimbursement (choose between € 0.23/ km or public transport subscription)br/lili30 vacation days per yearbr/li /ulbrpYou’ll be working from our headquarters at the Kabeldistrict in Delft, featuring a 500 m² lab, a workshop, dedicated assembly and testing areas, and a modern office space. /pbrpReady to help build the future of cryogenic electronics and thrive where research meets production? /pbrpDelft Circuits is an equal opportunity employer. xgiwjmb We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. /pbr
