Then this position as Senior Quality Assurance Engineer may be for you. /ph3Job Description /h3pstrongThe department /strong /ppThe Quality Assurance team consists of quality assurance engineers and quality assurance inspectors/metrologists. /ppThe department acts as a gatekeeper and advisor for assuring and maintaining the Vanderlande Quality Standard for parts and products. This is achieved by closely cooperating with Supply Chain, RD and Project Execution stakeholders. /ppThe key activities are divided into four different focus areas: Release the Product, Manage the Supplier, Solve the Incident and Measure Inspect. In this way, the team manages all Supplier Quality Assurance activities in a structured way and creates focus to assure high quality and sustainable equipment and services through reliable supplier relationships. /ppstrongWhat will you be doing? /strong /ppAs Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you will manage the performance of the suppliers within the category you are responsible for. You will actively follow up on Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) and lead Supplier Development programs (e.g. 4-Blocker method). You will schedule Supplier Audits on a yearly basis. By doing so, you will contribute to building a sustainable relationship with suppliers within your category. /ppYou will be responsible for the process of releasing parts and products within Supply Chain, and you will qualify suppliers prior to doing business with them, together with stakeholders within Supply Chain. /ppYou are familiar with LEAN/SIX Sigma methods and 8D problem solving methods to solve supplier-related product issues, and you are able to release parts and products at suppliers by means of Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP), or you are willing to be trained in one of these methods. Additionally, you have (Lead) Auditing experience and/or would like to be qualified as lead auditor. /ppThe function requires drive and initiative. Key is a proactive attitude focused on assuring the quality of Vanderlande’s products and learning from previous mistakes, Every Day Better! /ppstrongResponsibilities /strong /pulliTake responsibility for the performance of suppliers within your own category. /liliProvide input to the yearly Supplier Audit plan. /liliFollow up on SCARs and lead Supplier Development programs. /liliRelease Vanderlande products at suppliers by means of PPAP. /liliSolve supplier-related product issues, applying 8D problem solving methods. /liliPerform well-planned and structured supplier audits as well as internal process audits as a lead auditor. /liliReport in a fact-based way and review audit/inspection reports. /liliAct as an ambassador for QA, with the ability to give presentations to stakeholders about process improvements and ways of working. /liliWork and participate as part of a team of QA professionals and align with Vanderlande’s Global Quality community on processes, ways of working and improvements. /liliWork according to procedures and standards as agreed upon within Vanderlande’s Global Quality community and act as a role model for colleague QA Engineers and Inspectors. /li /ulpstrongYour profile /strong /pulliBachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Technical Business Administration). /liliMinimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the technical field; Electrical/Electromechanical knowledge is desired. /liliExcellent communication skills; good command of verbal and written English is a must. /liliExperience with International Management System Standards (e.g. ISO 9001/NEN-EN1090). /liliExperience with (Lead) Auditing, or willingness to be trained and qualified. /li /ulpstrongYou should apply when /strong /pulliYou are a team player and a strong communicator with the ability to apply distinctive communication styles and influencing techniques. /liliYou are a self-starter, able to plan and prioritize your own work. /liliYou are analytical, able to link findings with potential root causes with a statistical mindset (basic knowledge such as Histogram, Process Capability, etc.). /liliYou are a quality ambassador who can represent QA Vanderlande towards suppliers. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
