You will design and automate complex network configurations across environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Your work enables reliable infrastructure for compute, storage, and AI workloads in our sovereign cloud environment. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDesign, implement, and manage software-defined networking (SDN) within OpenStack environments (e.g., Neutron) /li /brliAutomate network configuration, monitoring, and management using Python, Ansible, or similar tools /li /brliEnsure secure and efficient connectivity across data centers, cloud, and hybrid environments /li /brliDevelop and maintain provisioning systems, APIs, and templates for self-service deployment /li /brliMonitor network performance and capacity; implement observability and alerting /li /brliCollaborate with security teams to enforce segmentation, encryption, and access policies /li /brliTroubleshoot complex, real-time network issues /li /brliContribute to the design of high-availability, fault-tolerant architectures /li /brliDocument processes and share knowledge across platform and operations teams /li /brliStay current with SDN, NFV, and automation trends in OpenStack and cloud-native ecosystems /li /br /ul /brh3What Your Day Will Not Look Like /h3 /brul /brliManually configuring switches or firewalls—we aim for full network automation /li /brliWaiting for someone else to define the architecture—you’ll help build it yourself /li /brliSolving the same issue repeatedly—your job is to automate it the first time /li /br /ul /brh3What You Bring /h3 /brul /brliProven experience managing and automating networks in OpenStack environments /li /brliDeep knowledge of SDN (especially OpenStack Neutron), routing, switching, and Layer 2/3 protocols /li /brliHands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Python, Terraform, or similar /li /brliFamiliarity with Linux networking, VPNs, VXLAN, BGP, and cloud firewalls /li /brliUnderstanding of network security, segmentation, and compliance requirements /li /brliAbility to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and communicate issues clearly /li /br /ul /brh3Bonus Points For: /h3 /brul /brliExperience with NVIDIA hardware or AI-optimized infrastructure /li /brliIntegrating networking with Kubernetes or hybrid cloud setups /li /brliKnowledge of CI/CD for network automation and infrastructure testing /li /brliFamiliarity with tools such as NetBox, FRRouting, Calico, or OVN/OVS /li /brliA strong belief in automation-first infrastructure /li /br /ul /brh3Eligibility /h3 /brul /brliYou must have a valid work permit for the Netherlands /li /brliYou reside in the Netherlands and can travel to the office near The Hague /li /brliYou are fluent in English (Dutch is not required) /li /brliPlease note: Nebul does not provide relocation or visa sponsorship /li /br /ul /brh3Ready to automate the backbone of Europe’s sovereign cloud? /h3 /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
