As Financial Controller Benelux, you will be responsible for ensuring an accurate, complete and timely financial administration while supporting business performance through high-quality financial reporting and analysis. /p pYou will oversee the day-to-day finance operations, coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, prepare reporting for local management and the company’s headquarters, and support budgeting and forecasting processes. In addition, you will actively contribute to strengthening financial processes, internal controls and reporting quality as the Benelux organization continues to grow. The role combines operational finance with financial control and business partnering. You will work closely with the Managing Director, Sales, Supply Chain and the international Finance organization, providing financial insights that support sound business decisions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwn the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes. /li liPrepare timely and accurate management reporting and reporting to Headquarters. /li liMaintain and review the financial administration and oversee day-to-day accounting activities. /li liPrepare balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses. /li liManage VAT reporting, inventory accounting and statutory financial reporting. /li liCoordinate budgeting and forecasting processes. /li liAnalyse financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to management. /li liMonitor cash flow and support liquidity planning. /li liSupport external audits and ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations.Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting and internal controls. /li liAct as the primary Finance contact for the Benelux organization and collaborate closely with colleagues across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations. /li /ul h3Your Background /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or a related discipline. /li liApproximately 5 years of relevant experience within Finance, Accounting or Financial Control. /li liExperience within consumer goods, manufacturing, trading or another product-driven international environment is highly desirable. /li liSolid experience with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing. /li liExperience with management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. /li liGood knowledge of statutory reporting, VAT, inventory accounting and general accounting principles. /li liExperience supporting external audits and working with local accounting and tax requirements. /li liAdvanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (Exact is considered an advantage). /li liExcellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 ul liAccurate, analytical and highly structured. /li liProactive, curious and continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes. /li liComfortable taking ownership and working independently in a growing organization. /li liA strong communicator who enjoys collaborating across different functions and international teams. /li liBusiness-oriented, with the ability to translate financial information into actionable insights. /li liThrives in an entrepreneurial environment where flexibility and initiative are valued. /li /ul h3Interested? /h3 pWould you like to join a growing international organization where you will have broad responsibility, work closely with the business, and play an important role in the continued development of our Finance function?
