Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the site, ensuring strong performance, customer satisfaction, team development and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the culture, processes and performance of a new operation while delivering excellent service for our customer. /ph3What's in it for you? /h3ulliPlay a key role in launching and shaping a brand-new site operation. /liliLead 2 Warehouse Managers and approximately 125 indirect employees. /liliSupporting a leading Techology brand. /liliDrive operational excellence through Lean, quality and continuous improvement initiatives. /liliJoin a dynamic, international organisation that supports your development and career growth. /li /ulh3How You'll Make An Impact /h3ulliPartner with the Site Manager and Operations Director to deliver operational strategies that meet company and customer expectations. /liliLead daily distribution and light manufacturing activities, ensuring safe, efficient and accurate operations. /liliManage performance, develop teams through coaching and training, and support positive employee relations. /liliDrive customer metrics across cost, quality and responsiveness, taking corrective action where required. /liliImplement and coach Lean Warehousing System processes and support start-up activities with cross-functional teams. /liliPlan staffing, scheduling and workloads to support all shifts and accounts. /liliMaintain safety, compliance, process documentation and environmental improvement standards across the operation. /li /ulh3What You'll Bring To GXO /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, with strong analytical skills. /liliExperience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations or a similar service-based or production environment. /liliMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a complex organisation, with strong leadership and people-development skills. /liliExperience applying Lean principles and driving continuous improvement. /liliUnderstanding of working with closed book customers would be beneficial /liliExcellent communication skills in English; Dutch language skills would be beneficial. /liliA proactive, customer-focused and culturally aware approach, with the ability to work towards clear goals. /li /ulh3Your work environment /h3pWorking at GXO Logistics means being part of a dynamic, international organisation where you can take ownership of your success, develop your skills and contribute to an entrepreneurial culture.
