Do you enjoy managing major customer accounts, resolving complex transport queries and responding quickly when a shipment does not go according to plan? Within DSV Road’s VIP Dedicated team, you will have the freedom to independently manage customers and their logistics processes.

Professionally supporting major customer accounts and coordinating and monitoring their transport orders, from initial request through to delivery: you’re on it.

How you do this? As a customer service representative, you are the dedicated point of contact for several of our larger customers. Due to their size, volumes and dynamic transport processes, these accounts require close attention and effective coordination. You understand the agreed service levels and KPIs, anticipate peak periods and ensure that operational and commercial queries are resolved quickly . You achieve this by:

• independently booking, processing and monitoring inbound, outbound and return orders, including urgent requests;
• proactively informing and advising customers about shipment progress, shortages, delays, damage and possible solutions;
• coordinating actions with transport planning, operations, international DSV branches and agents, while monitoring agreements and KPIs;
• identifying recurring issues and suggesting improvements to processes, communication and service delivery.

You will join a team of 20 colleagues and 2 team leaders, where you complement each other, challenge one another and jointly take responsibility for a diverse customer portfolio.

You bring

• mbo+ working and thinking level and a minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience, preferably within transport or logistics;
• fluency in Dutch, both spoken and written, which is an essential requirement for this role, as well as a good command of English;
• experience of supporting customers independently, combined with an eagerness to learn and the ability to switch quickly between different systems and tasks;
• strong communication skills and a commercial, accurate, proactive and decisive approach.
