ph3Senior Business Analyst | Data Financial Reporting | Utrecht | Hybrid /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a major data transformation programme within the financial sector. The programme is developing a group-wide platform that supports financial, internal and regulatory reporting. /p pYou will work at the intersection of business, data and technology. Your responsibilities will include gathering requirements, assessing the impact of new requests and translating complex reporting needs into clear requirements and high-level solution designs. /p pWorking closely with Product Owners, architects, data specialists and business stakeholders, you will guide requests from the initial business need through to development. This technically oriented Business Analyst role requires practical experience with SQL, data modelling and data warehouse environments. Familiarity with ETL processes and experience collaborating with technical teams across complex data landscapes are also important. /p h3The role /h3 ul liGather, analyse and document high-level business requirements. /li liInvestigate requests related to financial, internal and regulatory reporting. /li liPerform impact assessments across systems, data flows and teams. /li liDevelop high-level solution designs for new requests and changes. /li liTranslate solutions into detailed requirements, data models and data warehouse designs. /li liLead workshops and discussions with business and technical stakeholders. /li liIdentify dependencies, risks and consequences across the wider data landscape. /li liPresent options and recommendations to support decision-making. /li liCoordinate with Product Owners, architects, developers and data specialists. /li liMaintain an overview of several teams and initiatives within a complex programme. /li liGuide requests from the initial business need to development-ready requirements. /li liWork effectively when requirements are initially incomplete or still developing. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul li5+ years of experience in a comparable position (e.g. Data Analyst, Business Analyst, etc.) /li liPractical experience with SQL and ETL; /li liExperience with data modelling and data warehouse environments. /li liA good understanding of ETL processes and data flows. /li liUnderstanding of Business Analysis methods and best practices.. /li liExperience gathering requirements, conducting impact assessments and contributing to solution designs. /li liKnowledge and experience with BI, Data Modelling, including Data Vault and dimensional modelling, and Informatica PowerCenter. /li liExperience with financial reporting, Finance or Risk is a strong advantage. /li liProfessional command of English. /li /ul h3Conditions /h3 ul liHybrid working environment. /li liCandidates needs to already be based in the Netherlands. /li /ul pIf you are interested, additional information about the organisation, team and technical environment can be shared. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
