ppAs a Principal Mechatronics Engineer at ASMPT, you will work on something that does not yet exist: a completely new platform within our latest generation of Advanced Packaging machines. Together we form the driving force behind machines that are deployed worldwide in high-tech industries. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3pAs a Principal Mechatronics Engineer, you own the end-to-end mechatronic system architecture and ensure that performance is predictable, realizable, and scalable. Your efforts are instrumental in achieving high throughput while maintaining ultra precise die placement accuracy. /pulliDefine and decompose system architecture into mechatronic sub-functions and derive quantitative motion, control and metrology requirements (e.g., bandwidth, settling time, stiffness, vibration, latency, sensor resolution). /liliDefine and validate performance budgets across mechanics, control, and metrology domains. /liliDefine and guide simulation approaches, control strategies, and metrology concepts to ensure performance budgets are achieved. /liliCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop functional modules and ensure alignment with ASMPT teams in Singapore and Hong Kong. /liliEnable the testing and integration of machine prototypes and first production units.
