With a consistent year-on-year expansion, Circle B aspires to become the preferred provider for advanced private cloud workloads in Europe. /p h3Job Summary /h3 pWe are seeking a highly analytical and versatile System Administrator with expertise in Linux (Ubuntu/Debian and Red Hat) and experience with Windows Server (optional) environments. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting complex systems with minimal prior information. You will also support physical datacenter operations when needed and play an integral role in our mission to automate end-to-end service deployments via orchestration systems. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libSystem Maintenance Troubleshooting /b: ul liDiagnose and resolve complex technical issues across multi-platform environments using analytical and creative problem-solving skills. /li liProvide hands-on support for both virtual (KVM, Virtuozzo VHI/VAP) and physical systems, including hardware troubleshooting. /li /ul /li libTechnical Expertise Automation /b: ul liManage Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian and Red Hat) and Windows Server (optional) environments. /li liDevelop and maintain scripts using Bash and Python to automate routine tasks and integrate with APIs (REST and others). /li liAssist in the deployment and maintenance of containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform (optional). /li liUtilize configuration management tools such as Ansible to streamline system deployments. /li liSupport our automation initiatives by contributing to orchestration systems for automated service deployments triggered by incoming orders. /li /ul /li libDocumentation Reporting /b: ul liProactively create and maintain comprehensive documentation—including configuration data, workflows, change requests, and incident reports—to ensure transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across our operations. /li /ul /li libMonitoring Security /b: ul liImplement and maintain monitoring solutions using Zabbix, Cacti, and optionally Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) to ensure optimal system performance and rapid issue detection. /li liAdhere to security best practices and assist with security initiatives across all systems. /li /ul /li libNetwork Infrastructure Support /b: ul liDemonstrate proficiency in layer 2 networking and (optionally) software-defined storage solutions. /li liAssist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of open source environments such as basic and advanced LAMP stacks. /li /ul /li libPhysical Datacenter Operations /b: ul liIn addition to the above, actively assist with physical datacenter operations including racking, cabling, and servicing servers and network equipment to maintain and optimize our infrastructure. /li liWork effectively with both on-site teams and remote team members (including supervision of remote personnel across different countries). /li liMaintain excellent in-person and remote communication skills, ensuring clear, concise, and timely updates. /li liOperate within ticketing systems like Freshdesk/Freshservice, Microsoft Teams and Slack to manage and resolve support requests and internal communication. /li liCandidates must be proficient in using Jira for issue tracking and project management, ensuring effective collaboration with both remote and on-site teams and maintaining clear task documentation throughout the deployment lifecycle. /li /ul /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liProfessional experience between atleast 5-7 years with proven expertise in Linux (Ubuntu/Debian and Red Hat) and (optionally) Windows Server administration. /li liStrong coding skills in Bash and Python (pre) /li liDemonstrated experience working with APIs and integrating automation tools. /li liPrior experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, Virtuozzo), networking fundamentals (layer 2), and network storage. /li liExcellent analytical skills with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex issues from limited information. /li liExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform) is a plus. /li liFamiliarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and configuration management (Ansible). /li liExperience with ticketing systems (Freshdesk/Freshservice) and working in hosting/cloud environments. /li liPrior involvement in supervising remote team members and managing both technical and operational responsibilities. /li liOpeness to work onsite 5 days a week as this is fully a work from office position /li /ul h3Additional Requirements /h3 ul liMust possess a valid driver’s license (car) for occasional on-site datacenter support. /li liDemonstrate a willingness to follow operational directives—collaboratively contributing to the team. /li liGrowth Mindset: We foster a culture that encourages learning through mistakes.
