You will translate commercial and product requirements into functional, reliable, and manufacturable camera designs, guiding multidisciplinary development teams from concept to production.brstrongYour Day-to-day Responsibilitiesbr/strongulliCollaborate with Product Marketing and Product Management to translate the Commercial Requirement Specification (CRS) into a clear target specification for new or improved fixed cameras. /liliDefine the overall system architecture, including required features, feasibility, and alignment with current technologies and reliability standards. /liliConsult with technical specialists (video, power, transmission, hardware, software) to review and refine the architecture. /liliGuide and coordinate designers on implementing the system in development increments. /liliOversee the technical system design and ensure alignment across all project contributors. /liliEnsure production engineering is informed of technical and manufacturing requirements in time for seamless industrialization. /liliValidate the camera system for production and support its introduction into manufacturing, service, and customer environments. /liliAct as the primary technical authority for Product Marketing, Project Managers, Engineering Teams, and Manufacturing. /liliPerform tests and analysis together with the Reliability Engineer related to the quality validation plan. /liliPerform tests and analysis on video and audio performance against specified and subjective criteria.br/li /ulstrongYour role contributes to:br/strongulliDeveloping innovative camera systems based on customer needs, technological advancements, and industry trends. /liliImproving existing professional broadcast camera platforms through system-level design enhancements. /liliSpecifying system performance, behavior, and functionality from a user/system perspective. /liliCollaborating with RD field specialists to derive and decompose requirements, create test and verification plans, and ensure products meet technical and quality standards. /liliSupporting the creation of production test plans and system integration planning. /liliParticipating in video and audio performance evaluations, both analytical and subjective, alongside Reliability Engineers.br/li /ulstrongWhat you’ll need to be successfulbr/strongulliA Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Applied Physics. /lili5 to 10 years of relevant experience in system design or architecture, ideally in the broadcast or professional camera industry. /liliStrong knowledge of camera systems and a deep understanding of broadcast-specific applications. /liliBroad technical expertise in optics, colorimetry, control systems, software processes, power, and FPGA development. /liliFamiliarity with disciplines such as video/audio processing, intercom, and signal transmission. /liliInsight into the needs of camera users and emerging technology trends in the broadcast market. /liliExperience benchmarking competitors and tracking industry innovations, patents, and literature. /liliGood understanding of industry standards and recommendations (e.g., SMPTE, ST 2110). /liliStrong communication and coordination skills; Dutch language proficiency is a plus. /liliAbility to collaborate across diverse teams and act as a central technical point of contact.br/li /ulstrongWe offerbr/strongulliCompetitive compensation packages /lili40 days of leave per year and an excellent pension scheme /liliOnboarding and career coaching program and training possibilities /liliAn informal, collegial work climate, with colleagues that are proud of the products we develop.br/li /ulJoin an industry leader bringing state-of-the-art products, software and solutions to the broadcast industry.brThese statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work involved in this job.
