Compliance Automation Engineer (Kubernetes, CI/CD, Cloud APIs) for NATO with security clearance

ppbPoint-in-time audits are dying. Somebody has to build what replaces them. /b /p pA multinational defence organisation in The Hague, Netherlands is moving from manual audits towards continuous governance, risk and compliance — controls expressed as code, evidence collected automatically, and authorisation that is a live state rather than an annual event. You would be the engineer who makes that run. /p h3What You Would Be Doing /h3 ul liPreparing the target container platform: deployment, database, API gateway, networking and configuration /li liConfiguring and testing identity integration — role mappings, automated onboarding and access control /li liStanding up and validating connectors that pull compliance, telemetry and software-inventory data from the cloud estate /li liConfirming imported control statuses and evidence arrive, normalise and map correctly /li liRunning controlled test changes to prove event-driven updates are detected accurately /li liWiring the workflows so a failed control raises a ticket by itself /li liRunning stakeholder review sessions to test the assumptions and the mappings /liliTracking issues through to remediation /li /ul h3What you would bring /h3 ul liA bachelor's degree in a related discipline with three years of related experience /li liThree years across all of: Kubernetes; REST API integration; Python and scripting; CI/CD pipelines /li liDrafting technical data flows /li liWebhooks and the Jira or ServiceNow APIs /li liMicrosoft 365 Graph API and Security Center /li liRed-teaming against compliance requirements /li liPowerShell, cloud APIs and JSON /li liOAuth2, OIDC and identity management /li liDocumented experience of process analysis and design /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liReal technical knowledge of how allied organisations achieve interoperability /li liA working understanding of defence cloud strategy /li liITIL, COBIT or an equivalent /li /ul h3Why this one is worth a look /h3 pCompliance engineering is where cloud, security and automation meet, and very few people have done it at this scale.
