As a core member of our SPV Accounting team within the CFS team in Amsterdam, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. Our clients invest in investment properties and portfolio companies. /pbrResponsibilitiesbrYour Rolebrullibr/liliResponsible for all accounting matters for a group of SPVs, predominantly belonging to one client. This includes review of the accounting done by accountants in Citco’s Centres of Excellencebr/liliResponsible for interim reporting (Q or M) and ensure timely delivery of corresponding reporting packs, including depreciation/ amortization and interest calculation schedules/ distribution testbr/liliResponsible for review of financial statements of Dutch SPVs prepared under the Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS including Dutch Chambers of Commerce and DNB filingsbr/liliResponsible for tax compliance work including review and timely filing of CIT, VAT and WHT returnsbr/liliResponsible for communication with clients, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, government institutions and other Citco offices worldwide, and resolve queries or elevate where necessarybr/liliResponsible for cash management and related activities of client entitiesbr/liliResponsible for internal and external audit including assistance to audit deliverable for client entitiesbr/li /ulbrAbout YoubrTechnical Skillsbrullibr/liliHave an accounting qualification and 6+ years of experience in an accounting position and 2+ years responsible for managing the work performed within a larger teambr/liliHave knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAPbr/liliHave knowledge of investment and real estate accounting and accounting systems (e.g. Yardi, Investran (is a plus))br/liliHave experience in preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in a report generator system (Workiva) as well in Excelbr/liliHave excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written)br/liliFamiliar with tax-efficient European structures and related investment vehicles and regulatory requirements (a plus)br/li /ulbrOther Skillsbrullibr/liliDisplay strong financial/accounting and analytical skillsbr/liliCommercial, dynamic attitude and excellent communication skillsbr/liliAble to work successfully in a team as well as autonomouslybr/liliExperience with acting as client director or proxyholder is a prebr/li /ulbrOur Benefitsbrullibr/liliYour wellbeing is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
