Houseman - Public Area attendant Amsterdam

Do you enjoy working in a dynamic hospitality environment and take pride in creating clean and well-organized surroundings? We are looking for a motivated Houseman to support the housekeeping team and help maintain the highest standards throughout the property.
About the Position
As a Houseman, you play an essential role in the daily operations of the housekeeping department. You ensure that public areas and service spaces remain clean and well-stocked while supporting your colleagues with supplies, guest requests, and operational tasks. Your efforts help create a comfortable and welcoming environment for both guests and the team.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of public areas and staff areas
- Deliver linen, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies to guest floors
- Keep housekeeping storage rooms and pantries clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and extra guest amenities when required
- Respond efficiently to requests from colleagues and guests
- Report technical issues, damages, or safety concerns to the appropriate department
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure smooth daily operations
What We're Looking For
- Experience in housekeeping, hospitality, cleaning services, or a similar role is preferred
- A proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks throughout the day
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Eye for detail and commitment to quality
