Senior Electrical Engineer

ppWe are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to provide electrical engineering expertise across medium- and high-voltage projects within the energy sector. /ppIn this role, you will be responsible for the design, calculation, and development of secondary electrical installations, with a particular focus on protection, control, and substation automation systems. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary project team on new-build, expansion, and renovation projects, supporting activities from technical design through to site execution. /ppYou will also act as a technical point of contact within projects, working closely with engineers, project teams, and clients while supporting and coaching less experienced engineers. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign and engineer secondary installations for medium- and high-voltage systems /liliDevelop electrical schematics, control diagrams, wiring diagrams, and other technical drawings /liliPerform electrical calculations, including cable calculations and other engineering assessments /liliEngineer protection, control, and substation automation systems for MV/HV installations /liliDevelop technical solutions for new-build, expansion, and renovation projects /liliReview technical drawings, calculations, specifications, and other engineering documentation /liliCarry out site surveys and assess existing electrical installations /liliDiscuss technical findings, requirements, and engineering solutions with clients and project team members /liliCoordinate engineering activities with other disciplines throughout the project lifecycle /liliIdentify technical risks or engineering issues and develop practical solutions /liliSupport engineers and provide technical guidance and coaching where required /liliEnsure engineering activities comply with applicable standards, safety requirements, project specifications, and quality procedures /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliMBO or HBO level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related technical discipline /liliSeveral years of relevant electrical engineering experience, ideally within medium- and/or high-voltage environments /liliStrong experience with secondary installations, protection and control systems, or substation engineering /liliExperience designing and developing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuits /liliKnowledge of medium- and high-voltage electrical installations /liliUnderstanding of protection systems, relay protection, control systems, and/or substation automation /liliExperience performing electrical calculations, including cable calculations /liliExperience with engineering software such as EPLAN, ELCAD, Intelec, or similar electrical design tools is an advantage /liliExperience working on new-build, expansion, and/or renovation projects /liliComfortable carrying out site surveys and discussing technical solutions directly with clients and colleagues /liliAble to work independently while also contributing effectively within multidisciplinary project teams /liliExperience supporting or coaching other engineers is advantageous /liliFluent in Dutch is mandatory /liliGood command of English, both written and spoken /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
