You will work with a growing team of talented engineers using modern tools and processes to rapidly deliver software to the cloud. Within the team, you will lead development efforts on features and functionality to enhance our capability to communicate with robots as well as enhance our fleet management capabilities. /p h3Essential Job Functions: /h3 ul liDevelop, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). /li liCollaborate with the data engineering team to design and implement efficient data pipelines, ensuring high data quality and integrity. /li liDevelop APIs and services to facilitate seamless integration between the cloud platform and various web and robotic applications. /li liWork closely with the web and robotic application teams to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance and support. /li liParticipate in testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing, to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of the cloud platform. /li liMonitor and optimize the performance and reliability of the cloud platform, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks. /li liStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team. /li liAssist in other duties and responsibilities as assigned. /li /ul h3Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field. /li li2+ years of Software Engineering experience. /li liExperience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). /li /ul h3Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics: /h3 ul liFamiliar with programming languages such as Go, Python, and TypeScript, with a demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code and using version control systems like git. /li liFamiliarity of cloud infrastructure and related technologies (compute, storage, networking, etc.) on GCP. /li liExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or similar technologies. /li liFamiliar with designing and implementing scalable data engineering workflows and data pipelines. /li liFamiliar with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes. /li liUnderstanding of RESTful APIs and the ability to design and develop them. /li liStrong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach. /li liStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. /li liA passion for robotics, automation and technology. /li liAbility to multitask and flexibility to adjust to changing priorities. /li /ul h3Things that make a difference: /h3 ul liMS in computer science, software engineering or a related field. /li liExperience with robotic software development or working with robotics-related technologies. /li liFamiliar with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). /li liKnowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka). /li liFamiliarity of Agile methodologies. /li liKnowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle. /li /ul h3Physical Demands: /h3 pThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
