As an IT-Architect, you work for the value cluster Transaction Banking & Mortgages. The grids within this value cluster include Core Transactions, Daily Banking, Transaction Services, and Mortgages. You are responsible for the optimal use of and adjustments to the IT landscape, enabling the business to serve our customers effectively today and in the future as ABN AMRO continues to leverage the latest technologies.

Your job

As an IT-Architect, you are responsible for the architectural support of all IT changes within the Transaction Banking & Mortgages domain. Your role includes providing solutions that are supported by both the customer and IT, and playing an important role in implementing the bank's IT strategy.

As the point of contact for architecture at ABN AMRO, you will align our architectural vision with practical solutions for our teams. With a deep understanding of ABN AMRO's architectural vision and FSA, you will translate these strategic concepts into actionable outcomes, ensuring our objectives are met with precision. You will act as a trusted partner for Engineering Leads and Product Owners, offering your expertise to drive projects forward. Your responsibilities include maintaining the Current State Architecture and promptly identifying and escalating any engineering and architecture issues to the Lead Domain Architect, Product Owner, IT Engineering Lead, or Enterprise Architect.

You have an eye for the challenges that architecture presents. You deliver quality in your solution intent and can be pragmatic when necessary. You can navigate architecture at both strategic and detailed levels. We seek a team player who can engage with various teams and stakeholders, make sound decisions regarding short and long-term architecture choices, and enable delivery teams to work independently.
