Description of HS&P and Commercial IT:

Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships (HS&P) at Boston Scientific is a cross-divisional team that collaborates with healthcare systems to address complex clinical, operational, and financial challenges.
The team goes beyond traditional product offerings by providing integrated, data-driven solutions, combining advisory services, digital tools, and strategic partnerships through its ADVANTICS™ portfolio. HS&P works closely with hospitals and key Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), including some of the largest customers in Europe, to develop tailored and scalable partnership models.

The EMEA Commercial & Digital IT team, is a cross‑functional organization that enables digital solutions across the commercial business, combining strategy, technology, and delivery capabilities to drive value and impact.

Description of the initiative:

The GPO Marketplace initiative is a key digital transformation program at Boston Scientific, a collaboration between HS&P and Commercial IT,
focused on creating an integrated procurement platform that enables hospitals to seamlessly order, track, and manage products within their existing workflows.
Developed in close collaboration with major Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), the initiative aims to improve transparency, streamline ordering processes, and enhance customer satisfaction while reducing administrative burden.
A critical success factor of the program is high‑quality, well‑structured data, including product, pricing, and customer master data, which requires continuous validation and optimization.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an intern who will support our team by analyzing, structuring, and improving GPO‑related data to enable accurate system integration and data‑driven decision‑making.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a strategic, high‑impact initiative at the intersection of digital transformation, data analytics, and customer collaboration across leading healthcare partners.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, International Business or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear insights for business stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced analytics environment
• Strong level of ownership
• Fluent in English
